I swallowed the tablets as instructed and took the opportunity to have a nice long bubbly bath.
My senses relaxed as in sank into the bubbly water. Bit by bit my drunkinness antics came back to me.

I lifted my hand from the water and studied my beautiful diamond and pale blue sapphire.... That's one aspect of marrying a popstar that really bothered me, people thinking I was only in it for the money...
I really didn't want a penny of Gary's 22 million estate... Just him! I know Julie made a fortune when she left him. How could somebody do that to someone they apparently love? He even paid his maintenance for his children like all other separated parents did.

How would I cope with this different life? being able to afford anything I desired?? When before now all I've eaten for a week is beans on toast, so I could afford to pay my rent!
This ring was a test, a test of my ability to prove to the family that I just didn't want the fame and fortune, but I wanted Gary, and only him.

I think I dosed off again after my bath, Gary arrived home with his mum and Ian around 10pm. He woke me gently making sure I was ok. I'd missed him so much I gathered a blanket and dragged it downstairs to cuddle up on the sofa with him to spend some time with Ian and Gary's mum before they left tomorrow.

"Bye Dear!" Marge said as she hugged me goodbye. "Look after my boy!" She winked and smiled.
"Oh...I will!" I smiled back.
I hugged Ian, I was so surprised they were so different, I expected them to have similar features, but they were nothing at all alike.
Gary walked them to Ian's car and hugged them both tight, patting Ian's back as they parted.
Rejoining me on the doorstep he shouted "Drive safely!!"

"Well the meeting of the family went well?!!" I joked as we closed the door.
"Naturally!!" He said grinning "you feeling better today??" He lifted and tucked my hair behind my ear.
"So what's our plans then?" I said picking up the dirty cups from the coffee table.
"Long term? .....Marry you! .....Bang out a couple of kids...then retire!" He chuckled.
"Nooooo! Short term!" I shouted back to the lounge from the kitchen.
"Well!!! " he said joining me in the kitchen with his diary open. " I have a meeting with John Later...about the album.... Tomorrow I'm on 'This Morning' .....Wednesday I'm doing 'Lorraine' ...... Thursday studio work..... Friday, Saturday and Sunday off at the moment!"
"Oooooooooh book me in on Friday then!!" I half joked but was half serious.
"What we doing then????  Painting????" His eyes lit up.
"No! Naughty!" I smirked. "I want to go shopping!"
"Ooooh yeah!!!  I could do with some more treasures from the antiques shop." His eyes shone bright and he wrote..'SHOPPING WITH THE WIFE!!' On the page of Friday.

Later that day, on his way to his meeting he dropped me off at Anna and Jason's. So we could have a catch up!
"Hey you!" Anna said as I pressed the button on her gate panel. "Come on in!"
The gate clunked and opened just enough for me to squeeze through. I waved Gary goodbye as the gate clunked shut again.
"I'll buzz the door!" She shouted as I began to walk up the gravelled driveway.

"Hi Babes!" She greeted me with a hug at her doorway. Puffing and panting from the stair climb.
"Geesus An!!! Get a lift installed!!"
"Oh believe me....I'm on the case, be buggered if I'm walking up all those stairs at 8 Months gone!!"
"How's things going?" I said flopping down on the leather sofa.
"Not too bad so far! No sickness and only a little more tired than usual.....Cuppa??" She offered.
"Ooh please.....I'll make it!" I said rising from the sofa heading for the kitchen.
Anna followed me. "Wow...like what you've done in here!" I said glancing around the room.
"Yeah! It needed updating! " she nodded as she fished out the biscuits and put them on the counter.
"So, any gossip??" I said nicking a biscuit.
"Well the bedroom antics have toned down somewhat.!" She laughed aloud making me nearly choke on my hob nob. "Jason's started the nursery."
"Good Lord woman!, dunno where you find the energy!?"
"And what's this I hear about your gossip? Appearing on Gary's album?"
"Am I?" I said looking puzzled.
"Well that's what Jay said, and that It's was a cracking song!?"
"Oh!!! Our Duet!??" I said passing her her tea.
"WOOOAHHHHHH!!! wait!!! What's that rock on your finger????" She put down her cup and grabbed my hand!!
"Gorrge huh??" I winked. "It was Marge's .... She gave it to Gary."
"My lord...it's beautiful Babes!! Can you really believe what's happened in the past year??
"I try not to actually....it really does seem like a dream! One I don't wanna ever wake from!!"
"Gosh! I know! Only seems like yesterday we were speeding up the Motorway to see our Boys!"
"Wonder what Future fate has in store for us eh???" We smiled and chinked cups.
