Chapter thirty nine

I plugged in my phone and set my tunes going, made our bed and changed the sheets on the guest beds,
I was dreading going in Anna and Jays room, but they had tidied up any mess they had made and nothing was left lying around. I opened up some windows to let some fresh Air in, piled up all the linen to go down to wash.
I cleaned the main Bathroom and then our ensuite. I turned on the shower and went out to add my nightie to the washing pile.
Stepping into a hot shower is one of those best feelings ever, the virtually scalding water splashed over my skin.
Without warning I felt a cold pair of hands wrap around my waist, with a shreek I flipped around.
"Gary For Fucks Sake!!!" My heart pounded...
"Sorry Baby!! Couldn't resist!!" He chuckled. I planted a kiss on his lips.
"Were the girls ok?" I said soaping my arms.
"Here...let me...turn around" He said taking the soap lathering my back. "Yes they were fine...they really liked you!"
"Well let's just take it slowly yeah?!" I said turning back.
"Yeah...I know.." He said smiling
"Right now you've washed mine...I should really wash yours huh???!" I smirked feeling horny.
"You know what??!!....... You're on!!!!" He said his eyes lighting up...as I squeezed shower gel in my palm..

"What are the plans for new year then??!" I said at dinner that night.
"Well I was asked to do another new year live show by management...but I want to spend it with you! " he sulked.
"Don't be silly...you loved the last one, if you wanna do it...then do it! besides....I can always be there and shake a tambourine or something..." I joked.
He paused for thought a minute. "You know what?....." He said grinning. "That's not a bad idea?!"
"Gary...no..I was just joking!!!......" I pleaded.
"No seriously...we really could do with some backing vocals for the live shows.!" He said wide eyed.
"Oh don't be stupid...I can't do that?!!!!" I shook my head. "Anna's a better singer than me by far!!! Ask her..I'm sure she would love to do it?!"
"Why couldn't you??...you know all the lyrics....and I have heard you sing remember...you are good..BABY!!" He rose from his chair and strutted over to me and knelt down placing his hands on my thigh.
"Seriously???" I said laughing out loud. "But Anna's much better than me.."
"Well.... why not both of you??!!" He shrugged his shoulders.." We could....we could even ask the boys and do a NEW YEAR WITH TAKE THAT!!"

[NOW THERES A THOUGHT]

"Yeah...all the boys and you two backing...perfect!!" He was so excited about his idea...
"Well...." I started "....What if they are all busy??" I tried to keep this real.
"We'll soon see?......" He said standing and taking his phone from his pocket and dialled a number.
"JOHN........Mate..it's Gary!! I got this FAB idea!!" He explained the idea to his management.
Could he really pull this off at such short notice???
Gary phoned round all the boys, and Jay asked Anna. And by a sure fire miracle they were all game for it....Anna was a bit dubious..as I was...but together I knew we would be fine...we always were when we stuck together.
We all arranged to meet up the next day at a music studio near Wembley to discuss things.
That night in bed, Gary and I Made Love....NOT Sex...NOT Humping....LOVE! The tenderness this guy gave me was extremely erotic, slow, steady, controlled, powerful and strong. I gave up my body to him, to do as he pleased. And we were both pleased until we could literally please no more.

We all met up the next day at the studio...after all the greeting kisses were done, we set to work...it was so sexy seeing Gary in 'work mode' doing what he loved to do...in real time!!
The boys sorted songs from Progress and their recent album with some of Marks and Gary's solo stuff in between.
Howard wanted to do a DJ set after midnight..which we thought would be great TV.

They sorted the set list and printed of lyric sheets with mine and Anna's parts highlighted, so we could learn and practice our parts. We knew most of them ...by ear mostly...So....Anna and I entered the recording booth, we chose the one way mirrored one, so we couldn't see the boys watching us, and probably laughing their heads off.... Someone tapped in the set list and the lyrics popped up in front of us on a small screen.
As I predicted Anna's voice was far better than mine, but together we didn't sound too bad on playback. I was more nervous about being in that pod than I was the singing itself.
After the first few rehearsals our confidence built up, and the fact we couldn't see the boys helped with our nerves too.
With daily rehearsals New Years Eve came round all too fast.
Gary and I woke early and sorted out outfits..we were due ON AIR LIVE at 11pm, with a break at 30 minutes at midnight, then another set till 1 am...where Howie would take over for his 1hr set till 2am.
It was gonna be a very long day... But hopefully fun too.
Anna came round and we spent a few hours rehearsing our parts in our studio with Gary queuing up songs on his desk contraption.
By 5 pm we were as ready as we were ever gonna be, so we made our way to the backstage area of where we were performing.
As the celebrities arrived Gary introduced myself and Anna. Nicole Scherzinger was lovely..and so so beautiful. I was insanely jealous of their flirting ..but she did say 'I was a very lucky lady'.
Christine Blakely was hosting the evening and before she went on she popped her head in to say 'hello' and 'break a leg' ..to which I answered ..."yeah I probably will knowing me!!"
Every time I saw a cameraman I had a hot flush...
