Chapter 23

*Jess' POV*

After what seems like hours of sitting at the park people watching I finally decided to get up. I walked to the hospital. I walked in to see a lady sitting at a desk. "Hi, can I go visit Brandy Pollard?" I asked.

"Yes, do you know what room she's in?" she asked.

"Yes, thank you" I answered. I walked up to Brandy's room and opened up the door. Even though I know she can't reply I need someone to talk to. 

"Hi Brandy." I said as I sat down on a chair next to her bed.

"A lot of things have happened today, for instance, Harry asked me to be his girlfriend. And not even an hour later we got into a fight. I just don't know what to do. I wish you were awake so maybe you could tell me what to do" I said.

I felt a squeeze on my hand which made me look up. "I think that you should go back to him and talk it out. Because I can see you really like him" she whispered as she gave me a soft smile.

I stood up from my chair and bent down to hug her softly so I wouldn't hurt her. "I missed you so much those few weeks without you were terrible." I said as a few tears fell.

"I missed you too Jess" she replied. I hit the button to call a nurse in.

"Ah Ms. Pollard you're awake." a nurse said while walking over to Brandy's bed. 

"I'm sorry miss but you have to leave." the nurse said.

"It's okay, goodbye Brandy." I said.

"Bye Jess, and just talk it out with him and things should be fine." she said with a smile.

30 minutes later

I walked up my driveway to see Harry's car still here along with my mom's. I stood in front of the front door and looked at it. I gulped and pulled my key out of my pocket. I slowly put the key in the hole and turned it.

I breathed out before I opened up the door and walked in. Harry's head shot up when he heard me walk in the door.

He got up and walked over to me and pulled me into a kiss. "Don't ever do that again." he said after he pulled away.

"I'm so sorry." I said as I kissed him. 

"I'm sorry too." he said after I pulled away.

"Awe" we heard. We both turned our heads to see my mom standing there.

"You two are just so cute." she said and I blushed. 

After she walked back into the kitchen Harry turned and looked at me and said "You're so cute when you blush. Which only made me blush again. 

Harry took my hand and brought me to the couch. He furrowed his brows and pulled on his lip ring. "I love it when you do tha.t" I said.

"Do what?" he asked.

"Pull on your lip ring." I said with a smile.

"What are you thinking about?" I asked.

"I'm thinking about what we are going to do for our first date." he said while looking at me.

"Harry I don't need to go on a date I just want to spend time with you." I said.

"I still want to take you out." he said.

"I'm perfectly fine with something simple." I said.

"Okay, I'll keep that in mind." he said before pecking my cheek.
