Chapter 18

*Jess' POV*

School was boring as ever. I went to talk to Harry but he ignored me and walked away each time.

"Hey, do you want to hang out? It seems like forever since we hung out" I said to Brandy.

"Sure do you want to go to the mall?" she asked.

"Sure." I said with a smile.

"Hey Jess wait up." Harry said while he grabbed my wrist.

"What Harry?" I asked.

"I was wondering if you wanted to hang out?" He said.

Brandy looked at the ground. Did she really think that I was going to ditch her? "Sorry Harry I can't hang out with you today I'm hanging out with Brandy maybe some other time." I said.

She looked back up and smiled. "Oh uh okay." he said while rubbing the back of his neck.

"See you around Harry." I said while walking with Brandy.

"Yeah see you around." he said while walking away. Brandy and I got in her car and off to the mall.

The ride to the mall was filled with laughter and turning the radio up and singing off key.

"This is what I missed." Brandy said as she parked her car.

"Same." I said while smiling.

We both got out of the car and into the mall. "So what store do you want to go in first?" I asked.

'Uhm what about Aeropostale?" she asked.

"Sure." I said with a smile. We spent about an hour in the store. I got a couple of dresses and some shorts and t-shirts being that summer is coming soon.

"Do you want to go to a shoe store so we can pick up some sandals?" she asked.

"Sure and then I have to get back home because I have homework" I replied.

"Okay." she said. We went from one side of the mall to the other because just our luck that's where the shoe store was.

We both picked up a couple different pairs of sandals. I got some strappy sandals and the ones you just slip on.

We just got done paying. "Why don't we go to the smoothie shop before we go." she said.

"Yes." I said with a smile. She ordered a strawberry banana smoothie while I ordered a mango banana smoothie. We paid for our drinks and then walked back to Brandy's car.

We were currently sitting at the stoplight waiting for it to turn green. For what seems like an eternity the light finally turned green and Brandy started to drive again.

I suddenly felt this force hit into the side of the car. The car flipped a couple time before we were back up right.

My right arm was pinned in between the seat and the door. I looked over to Brandy to see that she had passed out.

I moved slightly so I wouldn't hurt my arm and I grabbed my phone. I don't know why but I clicked his contact.

Ring

Ring

Rin-

"Hello." Harry said.

"Harry" I cried into the phone.

"Jess what's wrong what happened?" he asked.

"Me, Brandy, car crash" was all that came out.

"Oh my gosh Jess stay with me." he said.

"Harry my arm" I cried.

"Jess you're going to be okay please stop you're making me really scared right now." he said into the phone.

It sounded like he was about to cry. "Harry." I said before everything turned black.
