"Did you really break up with her" Dinah ask me as I wiped down the counter with the white rag in my hand.

"Yeah, things just weren't going the way I expected you know?" She nods "well if you want I have this friend who would love to date you" I chuckled shaking my head.

"I'm good I'm not looking for a relationship at the moment"

"Ok"

The bell rings. We both look up to see a girl in a huge puffy dress with mascara running down her face. "Looks like someone having a bad day...you're going to take this one?"

"Yeah, I guess" Dinah walks away as the girl sat down on the stool. Putting her head in her hands.

I clear my throat. "How can help Ms?." She sniffs and looks up at me "give me the strongest thing you got"

I turned around and grabbed one of the bottles and a cup. "Having a hard day yeah?"

She nods "what do you think" I poured the drink into the cup and slide it to her. She quickly drank it down slamming the glass Down "more"

I look to Dinah and she nods.

I pour her another cup.

I walked away from her and too Dinah "she look rough" I nod in agreement "I wonder what happened"

"Go ask"

"Oh no I don't want to make her more uncomfortable"

"Just go" I sigh walking over to her "hey"

"Can I get more?"

"Uh yeah of course" I poured her some more. I stood there for a minute before letting out a sigh. "So I'm guessing your day didn't turn out great huh?"

She nods "you can say that again"

"Do you mind telling me what happened"

"As long as you give me another round" I poured her another cup.

"Today was my wedding day. It started off really good, everything was going my way like it was supposed to go" she pauses sipping her drink. "Until the ceremony actually started. I walking down the aisle looking directly at my 'soon to be husband'"

The music played as Lauren walked down the aisle. Family and friends stood up with big smiles watching the green-eyed girl who looked like a princess walk past them.

Lauren stared at the man who she was going to marry with a huge smile on her face. She finally got in front of him "thanks, daddy" Lauren speaks to her dad as he gave her a kiss on the cheek and walking away to his wife.

Lauren noticed how the love of her life was sweating she smiled knowing that he was indeed nervous. She grabbed his hand giving it a squeeze. Her fiancé looked into her green eyes and became more nervous.

Sweat rolling down his neck and forehead. "What's wrong?" Lauren whispered to the man he shook his head "Nothing love"

"I knew something was up I could tell by his face. I mean we've been together for five years I could read him like a chapter book" the girl says taking the bottle out my hands "ma'am you can't do th-"

"Do you want me to finish the story or not?"

"Uh yes, but you can't-"

"Ok, we'll be quiet at let me finish... I'm skipping ahead..every time the pastor asked to repeat things he would stutter he was shaking like mad crazy I was starting to worry"

" Lynol Robinson do you take Lauren Jauregui to be your wedded wife?, to live together in marriage?, Do you promise to love her?  comfort her? honor and keep her for better and for worse? for richer or poorer, in sickness and health, and forsaking all others, be faithful only to her, so long as you both live?"

Lynol looked into his fiancé's eyes as she held a smile on her face who was still slightly worrying.

"I-I" he took a breath letting go of her hands "I don't" everyone in the room gasp "what?" Lauren covered her mouth with her hands.

"I'm so sorry Lauren but I'm not in love with you...I'm in love with Jeffery. I'm gay"

Tears build up in her eyes as grabbed a hold of her dress and going down the stairs. Lauren ran out the church.

"He gave me so many signs that he was gay but I chose to ignore it...I don't have anything against the LGBT community because I'm apart of it as well but that just hurt me so much. I wasted my life with a man who doesn't even love me"

A tear fell from her eye. She started sobbing again "I bet he cheated on me too!" She dropped the empty glass bottle on the ground making it shatter everywhere.

"Geez I'm so sorry about that"

"I wish I would've caught on sooner...this is so embarrassing. Give me another bottle"

"I think you had enough"

"GIVE ME ANOTHER BOTTLE"

She yells "ma'am-"

"I'll just go to another bar"

"Wait, no let me call you an Uber it's late out" she looked outside to see it was dark out. "I took that long to tell that story?"

I nod "yeah you were slurring your words and getting distracted a lot" she chuckles "oh god"

She stands up "wait where are you going?"

"Home...well to a park bench I don't know somewhere"

I walk from behind the counter "you don't have anywhere to stay?"

She shrugs "my parents don't live here they are at a hotel and my friends wouldn't have any room"

"Um I don't know your name and you don't know me but you can stay at my place for a couple of days"

"It's Lauren but I'm sure I'll find somewhere to stay thanks for the offer though uh.."

"Y/n"

"Y/n pretty name" she smiles before turning away and walking out.

"She didn't pay!" Dinah yelled "I'll pay for her" I grab the broom sweeping up the glass off the floor.

Soon the bell rang again I looked up to see Lauren "hello again"

"I actually will take that offer," she says looking down. I looked down at her dress to see she had vomit on it.

"Damn" they dress must have cost a fortune. "Great let me grab my stuff" I walk to the back"

"Will you close up for me?" I ask Dinah she nods "good night"

"You too"

I grab my coat and grabbed Lauren hand walking out the bar.....
