And I just can't believe we went from strangers to lovers to strangers in a lifetime.
"Baby are you ready?!" I heard my wife call from outside the room I open the door "do I really I have to go?" She raises an eyebrow "Are you running a fever?"
"No?"
"Cramping?"
"No"
"On life support?" I furrowed my eyebrows "no?"
"Then you're coming let's go!" I groaned becoming annoyed more at myself because I didn't see where she was going with that. I slide on the heels and looked at myself in the mirror to see I looked decent in the black dress that fit my curves perfectly, nodding to myself I walked out the room and down the stairs. "Thank you for hurrying" Normani says, she looks me up and down biting her lip. "Like what you see?"
She nods "you look really beautiful" I smiled at her "but you'd look better with your body in my arms tonight" I smiled at her "And with that dress on the floor" I smacked her shoulder "oh hush" I chuckled as she pulls me out the house.
Normani and I were going out to a very important meeting and usually I don't go with her to her meetings but some very important people in her life was going to be there.
The driver open the door, and I got in along with Normani. "Who exactly am I meeting tonight you won't tell me"
"What is today y/n?"
"Tuesday"
"No the date"
"July 20th" she smiles widely at me "and in 7 days?"
"The 27th-ohhhhh the anniversary of Fifth Harmony" she nods excitedly "tonight we're having the meeting with the girls...we're thinking about getting back together!" She says with a huge smile.
I wanted to smile and be happy for her but I didn't want this to happen, or even be meeting the girls at all.
Why?
Because I dated her bandmate Lauren, Lauren and I dated in high school and all the way to her second year in Fifth Harmony. We kept it a secret because she wasn't out yet and I wasn't either. With Lauren is how I met Normani, and when Lauren and I broke up and after Fifth Harmony went on hiatus Normani and I got closer and eventually got together and 5 years later we got married.
Now 5 years later and here we are going to meeting to meet the first love of my life. I forced a smile "oh wow!"
"I know right I think we're ready to give our fans one more album with the 5 of us....I missed the girls so much"
She talked to me about it all the way to the place we were meeting everyone. I got out the car and followed her inside I looked around the room and wiped my hands on my dress due to how sweaty they were. "Where is everyone I asked?"
"They're coming" I sat down already pouring wine in my glass Normani watches me "you're acting weird are you ok?" I nodded "yeah I'm fine" she nods.
Soon people started piling in Normani hugged 3 of her bandmates who I remember as Dinah, Ally, and Camila. I greeted them and hugged them as well my eyes then landed on Lauren who was walking in, our eyes locked but she quickly looked away and at Normani and smiled.
"Hi Lauren it's been so long Girl I missed you!" They hugged Once they pulled away they both looked at me, and my eyes couldn't leave Lauren.
I looked her up and down I noticed how she gained some weight, and how she cut her hair shorter, her eyes seemed brighter, and she seemed happier, her dress fit her curves perfectly just like her red lipstick complimented her complexion perfectly.
"I know you guys met already but I want to introduce y/n as my wife" Lauren eyes locked on mines once again but this time she extends her hand out. "Nice to see you again" she says I could tell that she could careless that I was here, and it kinda hurt me because even though I was nervous to see her again I was also happy. But now I know she don't care.
"Nice to see you too" I shook her hand, there was a moment of silence our hand were now to our sides. And it was awkward. Lauren clears her throat "well I should go say hi to the girls"
"Yeah you do that" I watched as she walks away. "I need more wine" I say Normani furrows her eyebrows as I walked away.
The night went on, my eyes stayed on Lauren and she didn't talk to me at all. It bothered me but I wasn't going to let Normani know that.
"If you all just signed right at the bottom we'll have a deal"
The girls looked at each other, "I have to use the bathroom wait for me" Lauren says She stands up and walked out. Normani squeezes my hand I give her a smile, "I need to use the restroom too" she nods I stood up and went to the bathroom, and I saw Lauren feet in the stall.
I waited for her to get out the bathroom. The toilet flushed and she walked out her eyebrows furrowed "Hey"
"Hi" she walks to the sink and started to wash her hands. "Are you mad at me?" I asked she looks at me through the mirror "what?"
"Are you mad at me?"
"Why would I be mad at you?"
"You haven't really talked to me at all...it's just been small talk" she drys her hands "What is there to talk to about?" She asks "anything" she chuckles "there's nothing to talk about" with that she walks out.
I stayed in the bathroom for a good 5 minutes and decided to go back. A frown on my face I sat back down next to Normani, "it's official we're back together!"
"Yay" I say not feeling this meeting anymore... "I'm guessing more time together" she nods. "Yep we're going to be together everyday"
