What the hell am I going to tell my family?
'Hey mom I won the robotics awards and now I have a new hot girlfriend who's a robot.'
Yeah no I can't say that. I'm just going to have to introduce Lauren like I would with anyone. I might need to learn how she acts around people. This will be her first time actually being out in the real world. She's been stuck in the box for a very long time.
Years to be exact.
"Ok Lauren this is my apartment" I say as we got out the car. "Well our apartment now" she smiles widely "I know it's not a big house but this is all I can afford-"
"I love it already" she says I bite my lip at her unlocked the door. "This is the living room and over there is the dinning room and kitchen"
"Where's the bedroom?"
She follows me down the hall I open my door "this is my bedroom...the only bedroom in the house actually" I chuckled "we'll be sleeping together?"
"If you want"
"Yes!" I chuckled at brunette as she places her things down. "Sorry for the mess-"
"I'll clean it up"
"No it's ok...I'll do it" Lauren shook her head. "Really y/n with me you don't have to do much"
I chuckled at her sitting on my bed as she quickly picked up everything off the floor.
I examined her, her body, her face, her hair, I took in everything. "What don't I know about you Lauren?" She turns to me. "What do you mean?"
"Tell me about yourself" I pat next to me. She sits down. "My name is Lauren Jauregui" she started off I laughed "no I mean something that I don't know"
Her eyes widen in realization "oh! Um...I don't know. I don't really know that much about myself" I frowned. "Is that bad! Don't be mad at me...I learn!"
"Lauren calm down. It's ok, I'll help you get to know yourself, and I'll help you get to know what you like and dislike" I gave her a reassuring smile. "Ok"
"Like for instance" I dig in my pocket. "Here" I handed her a Hershey kiss. "Chocolate?"
I nodded. "It's 50/50 for everyone in the world" she opens the wrapper and plops it in her mouth. She instantly made a face making me raise an eyebrow. "Ew" she squeaks I hand her a napkin letting her spit it out.
Don't like chocolate.
Got it.
I stand up. "Ok let's go"
"Where are we going?"
"We're going out in the real world. Let's get to know each other"
She stops in her tracks "real world?" I looked at her. "Yeah is that a bad thing?" She shrugs looking down, almost as if she was embarrassed "What's wrong?"
"I'm scared to go out there" she frowns "then we don't have to go...I won't make you. There's lots of stuff we can do in here" she lifts her head up "really?" I nod. Even though I was lying. My house is the most boringness place to be at.
"Do you want to watch a movie? Or bake? We can play a board game if you like?" She stares at me. "Can we cuddle while watching movies?" She asks "Of course" she instantly pulls me into her. And plops down on the couch. I grabbed the remote controller. "Do you want to watch a scary movie? Romantic movie? Cartoons?"
"Whatever you like" I nodded going to Netflix. "Let's get popcorn stay here" I stood up and walked into the kitchen. Since I always seem to burn my popcorn every time I make it I just buy the bag popcorn...white cheddar and pour it into a bowl.
I walked back into the living room. Lauren was looking at the tv. Intensely. I looked at the tv. "Kong fu panda....really?" She shrugs at me. I chuckling to myself I sat back down next to her. She lays her head on my shoulder and grabbed her a handful of popcorn.
I guess she likes it because she continued to eat it.
The movie went on I was trying to stay awake but it was impossible because I didn't get much sleep last night because of how excited I was.
I placed my hand in the bowl to get some more popcorn. Looking down I noticed there wasn't anything in the bowl. "Lauren really?!" She turns to me with her cheeks puffed up. She looks like a little chipmunk. Adorable.
"It's really really good" I laughed at her. I couldn't even be mad. "Don't talk with your mouth open you'll choke"
She swallows the popcorn "Sorry...do you have more?"
"I'm afraid not...it is time that I go to grocery store and go shopping"
"Right now!"
"No it's late maybe tomorrow" she nods "Do you want dinner?...I have some left over spaghetti"
My phone starts to ring. Lauren nods.
I answered it "Hello"
"You didn't come over to today" my mom says. "Oh mom...I'm sorry I was really busy" Lauren follows me into the kitchen. "Oh really busy with what girl!"
"Mom I was out all day doing errands"
"Mhmm" I laughed "it's true!"
Lauren looks over at me in curiosity "Mom I have to call you back ok? I'll come over sometime this week I promise"
"Alright good night"
"Goodnight" the call ended. "That was your mom!"
"Yep"
"When can I meet her?!" I shrugged "soon"......
