Y/n stared down at the picture that she accidentally took of her and Normani on the Farris wheel a month ago. Y/n ignored all of Normani calls because she was angry that she told Lauren that one secret she trusted her with.
She's also ignoring Lauren calls because she knows. And Lauren doesn't feel the same. It's embarrassing.
Sometimes y/n wish that she had fallen in love with Normani instead. Maybe she'd actually be happy. After 2 weeks of calling and texting Lauren eventually stopped trying to contact her, Y/n noticed it and felt bad but also got angry at the fact that Lauren was so happy with Tyrone.
The multiple pictures on Instagram, the cute tweets on Twitter. Lauren was happy. And y/n was left in shadows heartbroken.
Normani on the other hand never stopped contacting y/n. She'd call every day in hopes that her best friend would answer but she never did. She even went as far as going over to y/n apartment but y/n never answered.
Normani would cry sometimes because she lost the one person she cared so much about. Was yelling at Lauren really worth it?
Normani walked into the bar and sat down on the stool. She orders her a whiskey and looked around the room hoping that she'd see y/n drinking somewhere but she didn't. The bar became a very lonely place for her.
"Anyone sitting here?" Normani looked up to see a girl with blonde hair. "Uh no," the tall girl sat beside her "Long day?" Normani drowned down her drink and slammed on the counter. "Uh Yeah I guess so"
"Want to talk about it?" Normani shook her head "No I just want to get drunk" the blonde nods grabbing the bartender attention. "Two shots of Vodka!"
The two started to drink. Shot after shot getting as drunk as they can. By now Normani already knew the blonde name. Her names are Dinah.
Dinah didn't know but she was giving the Normani the liquid courage to talk to Y/n. All Dinah wanted was to get laid.
"I'm gonna do it!"
"Do What?"
"I'm gonna tell y/n how I really feel. I'm gonna force her to talk to me" Dinah frowned. "Who's Y/n?" She asked. "My soon to be girlfriend"
Normani stood up and walked out the bar leaving a confused Dinah behind.
Y/n poured the popcorn in a bowl before walking into the living room and plopping on the couch. Normani bang on the door.
Y/n groaned standing up. "Y/N! OPEN UP WE NEED TO TALK RIGHT NOW!" Normani slurred Y/n stopped in her tracks. "I KNOW YOU'RE IN HERE PLEASE JUST TALK TO ME!" Y/n walked to the door. "Normani im going to need you to leave ok?"
"NO! WE NEED TO TALK"
"There's nothing to talk about"
"WHAT HAPPENED TO US?! WE WERE BEST FRIENDS WE USED TO TALK every day! WE USED TO TALK ABOUT EVERYTHING" Normani screamed. Y/n frowned. "IM SORRY I TOLD LAUREN ABOUT YOUR CRUSH! IT WAS REALLY SHITTY OF ME" Y/n placed a hand on the doorknob she could tell Normani was drunk.
"BUT SHE PROMISED ME THAT WE'LL END UP TOGETHER! SHE LIED!"
"She has no right promising that" y/n clenched her jaw. How could Lauren promise such a thing? After all the clues y/n gave her, after everything y/n did for her she promises Normani love. How could Lauren be so blind?
Normani heart broke. Tears fell from her eyes. "Normani please go!"
"Why don't you love me?!" She yelled. "How could you fall for Lauren, am I not good enough for you! Am I not enough for you" she sobbed. Normani slammed her forehead on the door on accident and slide down to her knees. "Normani-"
"Y/n PLEASE!"
Y/n heartache hearing Normami sobbed. "I will stay here! I will stay right in front of your door until you open the door. I'm not giving up on you!"
"GOD NORMANI WHY CANT YOU JUST LEAVE!" Y/n yelled. "BECAUSE I LOVE YOU THAT'S WHY!!"
Y/n squeezed her eyes tightly and sigh. "Well, you're just gonna have to stay out there Normani!"
'Lauren needed to know didn't she?' Y/n was never going to tell her.
"YOU KNOW DAMN WELL YOU WEREN'T GOING TO TELL HER!"
"I was!"
"YOU WEREN'T! IM SORRY TO TELL YOU BUT LAUREN NEVER LIKED YOU IN THAT WAY" tears built up in Y/n eyes. "Shut up!"
Normani stood up.
"AND SHE'S IDIOT! WHY CAN'T YOU JUST TAKE THE ONE WHO ACTUALLY LOVE YOU-" Y/n opens the door and shoves the drunken girl.
Normani fell on the ground. "LEAVE ME ALONE GODDAMIT, I DON'T WANT YOU HERE!" Y/n screamed. Normani "y/n I'm sorry"
"I don't care you're making everything worse now leave!" Y/n slammed the door shut. Normani stood up she slams her fist on the door. Before walking away.
Jaw clenched As she made her way to Lauren's.
Once she got there she banged on the door. Lauren looked up from her phone and stood up. She pulled the wedgie out pulling her shorts down as she walked to the door.
She opens the door. "Normani What are you doing here-" Normani pushes Lauren to the floor.
"Normani What the hell!"
"YOU PROMISED ME!" Lauren furrows her eyebrows "what? Are you drunk-"
"YOU PROMISED ME THAT Y/n and I would be together...BUT SHE HATES ME" Lauren stood up "She doesn't hate you" she places a hand on Normani shoulder. Normani smacks her hand away. "YES SHE DOES AND ITS ALL YOUR FAULT"
"Normani"
Normani pushes her again "Mani stop-"
Lauren quickly grabbed Normani hands. "YOU LIED TO ME!" She pulls her hands away and slaps Lauren across her face. Lauren held her cheek.
Before Normami could get anything out Lauren charges at her they both fell on the ground with a thud.
Normani quickly grabs a chunk of Lauren's hair. "LET GO OF MY HAIR" Lauren elbows Normani in the nose.
Normani and Lauren fought before in the past but it never has gotten physical. There was never any fist fights.
This was new. Lauren didn't like it at all.
She became angry at Normani, at Y/n, at herself. How could she let this all get out of control?
Before Normani can swing Lauren quickly crawled on top of Normani and grabbed her arms pulling it over her head. Normani struggles to get from under the brunette.
"STOP IT!" Lauren yells. "STOP IT RIGHT NOW!" Normami stopped. "Stop trying to fight me. It's not going to fix anything Normani. It's not going to fix anything." She repeats.
Normani sobbed. "Y/n hates me"
"No, she doesn't-"
"And you told me we would be together"
"Normani I thought she liked you! I didn't know she liked me. If anything she's missing out. Because you are an amazing girl who deserves the world"
"She deserves the world."
"I know. But I refuse to let you cry over her." Lauren wiped the tears away from Normani cheeks. She gets off of her. Normani sat up.
"I love her"
"I know"
"And she loves you" Lauren frowned. "I know"......
