I tapped my foot repeatedly on the hard marble floor waiting for her plane to land. It's been exactly 10 years since I last time saw her. My heart was beating against my ribcage as I got a text saying that she was walking In.
I looked down at my maroon pant suits and flatten my top. I checked the time to see it was 3:45pm.
I looked around the room as my hands begin to shake. I was very nervous. I'm a bit scared that she won't like who I've become through out the years. Because let's be honest I've changed a lot.
I changed my look, I changed the way I think, the way I talk I changed everything.
I used to be this crazy wild teenager who didn't give no fucks, who partied everyday every week. And now I'm a 30 year old woman who literally just bought a huge house and lives with 2 dogs.
My eyes came in contact with this girl with blonde hair. I let out a gasp. "DINAH!" She looks up her eyes widen "Y/N!" I ran into her arms and wrapped my arms around her.
"I cant believe this! I missed you so much!" I felt myself getting very emotional she pulls away and wiped a tear off her cheek "I missed you too..look at you you're beautiful" I chuckled.
"You look very amazing...oh my god!" I looked down at her belly. She blushes "you're Pregnant!" She nods "yes. I am 9 months to be exact"
"Is it a boy or a girl?"
"Boy" we both smiled "wow...when is he due?"
"Anytime now?" I raised an eyebrow "and your doctor let you get on a plane?" She smirks "well I look to introduce you to someone" she steps back and grabs this mans hand. He was quite handsome if I do say so myself.
He was her skin complexion, he had a beautiful smile and brown eyes and hair. They looked perfect together.
"This is my husband Felix" he smiles at me "nice to meet you...I heard a lot about you" I shakes his hand "nice to meet you too"
"I didn't know you were married" she frowns "I tried calling you that whine week y/n you didn't answer I'm sorry" I sigh "no It's ok I have been pretty inactive lately"
"We've been married for 2 years now"
"Yeah I've been inactive for 2 years" she raises an eyebrow as we start working "I have. I don't really have time to even look something up on my phone. I've been working and working and working I hardly have time to take a 3 hour nap...so even if you did get in contact with me i still probably wouldn't have come because of work"
She sighs "I really wanted to to be me maid of honor...you've Would've looked beautiful in that dress I picked out" I smiled. We walked out the airport. And went over to my car.
"Nice car"
"Thanks it wasn't cheap" she chuckles I open the trunk for Felix to to put their bags in the car. "Are you sure we won't be a bother at your place I know how you like quiet" I shook my head "no it's fine...all the girls are staying there too so it's whatever"
She gasp "really?"
"Yeah I had recently bought a house that can fit all four of you" we got into the car.
"I can't wait for this party...I got the perfect date to bring" she looks back at the man sitting in the back. He winks making me playfully roll my eyes at two.
"Speaking about dates y/n Are you dating anyone?" I glanced at her as started to drive down the road. "No actually I haven't had time to meet new people"
"Well have you dated someone before you got that stupid job...I don't even know your career and I hate it already!" She groans. "I'm a lawyer and I haven't dated anyone since-"
