Laurmani/You
Normani laid her head down on the pillow and let out sigh. She was upset with Y/n because she didn't pay attention to what was going on but she was also upset with herself for even trying to kiss y/n.
That was a stupid move.
'Y/n would never like me'
'I have nothing on Lauren' Normani thought. She lift up once she heard her door open. "Hey" Lauren says leaning against the door frame. "When did you get back?"
"Just this morning...what are you still doing in bed. Y/n told me that you've been ignoring her calls" Lauren says raising an eyebrow and walking over Normani bed and sitting down.
"I just haven't been feeling good" Lauren chuckles "What?" Normani asked "you really think I'm going to believe that? Come on talk to me. I miss having girl talks"
Normani sighs "ok don't judge me but, I might have this huge crush on y/n" Lauren eyes widen. "Wait no scratch that I'm in love with Y/n...and well I might have tried to kiss her last night and she rejected me" Normani frowns.
"Mani"
"It's ok I guess I'm just trying to distance myself from her. Yesterday I was so hurt. And even though she didn't notice I was leaning in for that kiss, it makes me wonder if y/n even pays attention to me. Whenever we're around it's always about her stupid crush" Normani pouts. "Y/n has a crush on someone! Who? Tell me!"
"It's not my place to say"
"Do I know her or him?"
"it's a her and yeah you do" Lauren smiles. "I wonder who it is!" Normani frowns, which made Lauren clear her throat "so we can stop this foolishness and get you guys together!"
"What?"
"It's obvious you guys are meant to be. You just have to tell y/n I promise you she'll be in your arms by the end of the day"
Normani furrows her eyebrows "what?"
"I'm going to help you get with Y/n. I want my two best friends to be happy so get dressed we're all going out" she pushes Normani out of her room and into the bathroom. "I need my towel"
Lauren throws Normani one of her towels "thank you!"
Once Normani was done getting ready the two made it to Lauren's and Y/n's shared apartment. "Stash here I'll go get her" Lauren hops out the car and runs inside the apartment.
"God she's so clueless"
Lauren ran into Y/n room "come on we're going out"
"Where?"
"To the carnival now let's go"
"Wait just the two of us?" Lauren chuckles. Y/n bite her lip just hoping that she was right. "No Normani coming with us" Lauren winks.
Y/n faked a smile. "Oh ok let's go then" the two walked out getting into the car. "Hey mani" y/n says, "hey y/n"
Lauren started driving. "So Lauren did Ty parents like you?" Normani ask. "They loved me! I swear this is the best experience I ever had" Y/n sighs wondering why Normani would bring up Tyrone.
Normani looks over art y/n. She places a hand on her knee. Y/n raises an eyebrow "Are you ok? You seem upset"
"What's the real reason we're going to the carnival?" She asked. Lauren looks at the two from the mirror and smiled putting in her earphones.
Normani shook her head. "She just want us to-" she lick her lips "she just want to spend time with us that's all...and beside this will probably get you the opportunity to get alone with Lauren" as soon as those words left out Normani mouth the car stopped. Lauren looks at the two.
