Today turned out great.

Amazing.

Honestly it's going to be marked down as on-no. The best day of my life.

Lauren and I ended up sitting on the couch talking about music, books, movies, and anything new else we'd seemed to share interest in. I found out more about her, adding more to my Lauren Jauregui fact lists that hasn't been updated since freshman year.

Of course it was a list of made up in my head, so yeah I'm not some creep.

I'd found out she'd liked photography and writing, which is why she told me she'd spend most of her free time on Tumblr. Of course I almost keeled over to find out she had one and immediately asked what her user name was. Lauren just laughed while taking out her phone and telling me to follow my page for her. Yet again my heart skipped a beat.

I didn't realize how long we'd been listening to some playlists on Spotify and sharing stories until I got a text from my mother asking where I was. I looked out the large windows of her living room to see it was night time. Damn. I'd been so lost in her I didn't even realize.

Luckily Lauren was kind enough to drive me home, she wouldn't let me walk or call my parents. "Seriously," she said while opening the passenger door for me, "I don't mind. Besides gives us more time together, right?" Lauren said with the most bashful smile.

I knew I must've been smiling like a fool too because I just nodded. Getting into her car there was a faint sound of Bob Dylan in the background while I continued to tell Lauren about the time my older brother Harry and I tried catching crabs at the beach at night. Of course little me was ten times more clumsy than I am now, so I ended up getting clawed onto the in between of my thumb and index finger.

Harry of course thought it was hilarious, he'd laughed to a point where he fell back into the sand while rolling around grabbing his stomach. I looked over to the the driver's side to see Lauren wasn't really smiling or trying to hold back her laughter. "You can laugh it's okay," I told her while patting her arm reassuringly.

That's when her hand held on to mine gently, "It's cute I'll admit. That's probably the only reason I'd laugh, but imagining a little Camila crying in front of me kinda just made me want to help her and make her laugh to see a smile."

A red light came up which cause the car to come to a slow stop. Lauren slowly turned towards me, those green eyes of her blending well with the stop light while her pale skin glowed even more. I didn't even realize I was holding my breath or that I'd just been staring at her. Snapping out of my thoughts I smiled at her while squeezing her hand back, "I wouldn't have taken you for a girl who likes kids."

Lauren slowly loosened the grip of my hand and brought her's back to the steering wheel, the light now green so the car was set back in motion. I could barely see the faint smile on her lips, "Ha-ha, well I just have this thing where if I can make someone happy even if it's just for a second, I'll do whatever it takes."

My heart. Yup. Oh my god. Lauren Jauregui was stealing my heart. I don't mind it one bit.

We'd reached my house and I thanked Lauren for everything, but of course the girl quickly said that she should be thanking me. Thanking me for listening to her and agreeing to keep it all between us. I just laughed while playfully smacking her arm, "Ha-ha, jeez Lo!"

Lauren rubbed her arms and smiled warmly at me, probably still mentally thanking me. As I got out of the car she called out and asked if I'd needed a ride tomorrow morning for school, yes on a Saturday. The lacrosse team and cheer squad have practices everyday, but Friday and Sunday. Horrific I know.
