Lauren
"I'm going to tell Normani," I told Camila as we're laid out on the futon down in my studio. She rested herself on top of my left side while I kept one arm around her waist and the other was resting on my stomach with her fingers intertwined between mine.
Brown eyes looked up at me as she rested her chin on my chest, "I'll support you no matter what, Laur. As long as you're ready to do something like this." She said while turning back to nuzzle her face into my chest again.
I couldn't help but admire how her eyelashes fluttered like butterflies against her rosy cheeks, she only gets more beautiful each day. My free hand running up and down her arm until I noticed something I'd always had before, but never got the chance to speak on.
"What does you're tattoo mean?" I asked Camila and she looked at her ribs before looking back up to me.
"It's "find what you love and let it kill you." It's a shorter version of one of Charles Bukowski's passages. I simply loved the words and one night...after Ariana's party sophomore year I may have drunkly gotten it and woken up the next day completely lost." She giggled while her thumb rubbed the back of my hand.
I laughed lightly while pushing her top of a bit more to trace my fingers over the inked skin, "You went all on your own completely drunk?"
Camila shook her head gently, "Dinah was with me and she was-well-she was probably just a tad more sober than I was-then again her tolerance is so high she can get sober after an hour of not drinking so she knew what she was doing. I'd been whining about how I loved that part of the little passage so much and how I was dead set on getting it tattooed on me, so Dinah made sure myself or the artist wouldn't fuck it up. She was the one who suggested it be in Arabic. I thanked her for it because it honestly looks beautiful."
"Even more so because it's written on your skin," I whispered as she looked up at me with glowing eyes and a shy smile.
Camila chuckled lightly while shaking her head before scooting up to peck my lips, "We get it Jauregui you write songs."
I couldn't help the toothy smile get on my lips before I bit at my bottom lip, "A majority of them are because of you."
Camila's eyes widened before she playfully glared at me, "Like the one you just showed me? You told me that already."
I shook my head while pushing some stray hair behind her ear, "There's more besides that one."
Camila shot up and placed both her hands by the sides of my head, did I say something wrong? "You have more than one song about me?"
I nodded my head slowly while thinking over how she could possibly be insulted by this. Sure maybe Want It was a little...okay a lot sexual, but it was also in a way about how I just physically nor mentally couldn't cope being away from her.
"Can...Can I hear them?" She asked me while avoiding my gaze and shuffling back to sit on her knees.
I smiled a bit before sitting up to meet those chocolate eyes I've grown to adore, "When I get them done, of course."
Camila pouted like a hurt little puppy before shuffling closer to me and proceeding to straddle my thighs, "Lauren." She held out while wrapping her arms around my neck and resting her forehead against mine, "Please."
I felt my body tense as my face heated up, "C-Camz this isn't fair." I whispered while she brought one hand up slowly to stroke my jaw and then have her thumb come over my bottom lip gently.
