"This isn't what I expected when she said date," I grumbled while we were now walking around Disney's BoardWalk hoping we'd be able to spot Dinah and Normani on their date.

I should've known Lauren willingly and very confidently asking me out was too good to be true.

"Camz," I looked up to see Lauren walking over to me with two virgin Piña Coladas in her hands. I couldn't help but smile back at her adorable little clueless smile, she played me so well. I wonder if she did that on purpose?

We were seated at a high table near a little grill slash bar, I was still a little wiped out from cheering and then well the Florida heat doesn't help. Which causes Lauren to suggest we lift our energy up with some drinks. Even though I wished they had alcohol in them, at least then it would bring out feisty Lauren which would probably lead to her taking me in the back of Dinah's car and just-

"Hope you like Piña Colada," she smiled while taking her seat in the high chair and carefully placed my drink in front of me. I held back a groan from hearing her accent, I definitely wanna hear say more things in Spanish.

"I love Piña Colada," I smiled back while taking my cup and taking small sips, even though I already knew there was no alcohol I was a little disappointed about it. I thought maybe the bartenders could've made a mistake, shouldn't have hoped.

"I texted Mani and asked her how it's going, but all she said is "walking around BoardWalk. Gtg. Bye." And then nothing." Lauren sighed while sipping away at her drink.

I couldn't help but smile warmly at watching her be so impatient, she really wanted to see those two together. I mean sure, I did too, but I wanted to just be with Lauren more.

Ugh, fuck Keana. If she hadn't said those things and done what she did, Lauren and I could've...you know...by now.

I felt my anger boiling over at remembering the cocky cheerleader who blackmailed my Lauren, fucking bitch. Honestly if I wasn't Co-Captain I would've stomped right back to Regionals and kicked her little ass at the tent for everyone to see.

"Maybe Dinah's really being on her A-game," I shrugged while grabbed the cherry from the top of the drink. As I slowly brought it to my lips, I realized Lauren hasn't responded. I looked up to see her eyes were staring at the cherry pressed against my lips. I felt my body shiver from seeming that almost same look she has when she took me in her bed, maybe...

"Maybe she's really wooing Mani with her moves, you know?" I husked and gently got the cherry between my teeth while I gazed at Lauren, who just gulped. I couldn't help the smirk come over my lips when her eyes met mine and she had to look away.

A dark blush sweeping its way over her cheeks while she tried to clear her throat, "I-I-yeah maybe." Lauren squeaked out while sipping away at her drink, almost finishing it before she pulled the straw away and groaned in pain.

I chuckled lightly while finishing up in the cherry and playing with the stem in between my fingers, "Brain Freeze?"

Lauren nodded her head while still groaning, poor baby. I thought while I thought something else that could probably get her to want to leave this place a bit early, "Hey, Lo." She looked up while looking at me through squinted eyes and a hand placed on her forehead, "They say if you press your tongue against the roof of your of your mouth, it'll go away." To which I proceeded to lick my lips slowly before opening my mouth to show her exactly what I said.

Lauren gulped again since I saw her throat bop up and down, but she didn't answer me verbally, but with a slow nod. I didn't stop though, if I wanted out of here I needed to win her over.
