Lauren
"Holy shit my best friend's famous," Normani cheered while we were driving back that Sunday morning.
I rolled my eyes, "I'm not famous."
Dinah popped up from the back seat, "Going viral is pretty much the same thing." She said while Normani nodded her head in agreement.
"I just can't believe it's been blowing up on Twitter and I didn't notice," I sighed while I felt a little anxious since there wasn't music coursing through the car to calm me down as I drove. Normani turned it down so we could talk about this apparently.
"Maybe because you have all your social medias on silent," Dinah laughed while she brought her phone over to show Normani something, "I mean, damn. The Laurenizers are growing fast."
"Laurenizers?" Normani and I both questioned while I took my chance to higher the music just a little. Jon Bellion silently flowing through the speakers already pushed back my anxiety.
"She's so daddy," Normani said and I turned just a bit to look at her with a cringing face.
"Mani, what the fuck."
Normani crackled while Dinah snorted, "Dude these are the comments on the video Cara uploaded of you. Some of them are thirsty af. "
"Who is she? She can make my Body Rock whenever." Normani started laughing up a storm while Dinah read out some more comments while I shuffled awkwardly in my seat.
"Damn, Laurzer. These girls want your d-guh," Normani elbowed which sent the Poly to groan on the backseat.
I'm not gonna lie, this entire ride I've been getting the feeling they're hiding something from me. Well trying to keep each other's mouths shut really is what was happening. "Were you gonna say di-"
Before I could even ask Normani spoke up, "Laur! Are you down to go to a party tonight?"
I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion, but still managed to keep my eyes on the road to see the sign that said Miami. "Uh...it's Sunday..."
Dinah popped her head back between our seats, "Yeah, but because the cheer squad got first Ariana's throwing a party to celebrate."
I laughed a bit while shaking my head, "On a Sunday? When they have morning practice the next day and so do we?" I stated because I wanted to remind them a hangover and drills don't exactly mix well.
Normani groaned while placing her hand on my shoulder gently, "Lauren! Come on! Please?"
To say I was a little surprised to hear Normani begging, was an understatement. Usually she made me go either way if I said yes or no, but to hear that she really wants me there must mean something.
Something's off.
"Sure," I sighed which caused both girls to whoop and holler to themselves while I focused back on the road. Maybe it was just going to be a great party, god knows the last one I went to at the Grande estate was a rememberable one.
Yeah. No. Joke. I don't remember shit from that night. Which is why I'm kinda hesitant about it.
The last time I woke up in bed feeling like complete crap next to Normani who's hair was all over the place. I almost shrieked thinking she was a monster, thankfully Ariana walked right on in wearing a lacy gown with her hair in her typical high ponytail, "Hey there Tiger."
I laughed a bit to myself remembering Ariana tell me everything about what happened, of course I thanked her for managing to get me into a bed. Though I could've sworn that day Ariana was a little more friendly and touchy with me than usual, even calling me little names like Tiger or BKOK.
