I was up way before the others so I managed to have a shower and clean my teeth before the rush. Got myself ready for school, and walked through the kitchen, grabbing half a slice of toast and a drink. "Sandwiches are in the bag Ryan" May-Li said, "anyway what's the rush?" "Oh, erm, nothing, I just, I need to grab a book from the library" I lied as I went through the door. Wednesdays were one of the Science days, Mr Warrilow was today's teacher, hmm, God how I hated him. I went to registration as normal, then sauntered across to the Science lab. Unfortunately, Tyler, Jody and Carmen are also in this class.

"OK.......Periodic Tables, Who's not handed in their homework, ah, Jacob, Ryan, see me after!" Yeah whatever I thought, but my heart began to pound and my hands were sweaty as he gave us a test paper. "Oh Shit, I totally forgot!" I gripped my pen so hard as I tried to steady myself to write my name on the top of the paper. Question 1) What is the chemical symbol for potassium? "What? Oh, like I know......or care!" I spent the entire time staring at the questions. "Times up" Mr Warrilow stated, "test papers to me." I screwed my paper up and threw it at his desk, unfortunately it hit him on the shoulder and bounced back to the floor "Who was that?" he yelled, before I could stop myself I shouted "Pick it up and read it!" He shot me a cold stare, "RYAN!" he yelled at me, so off I go to the thinking room.....again. Oh well at least I haven't got to find some lame excuse for not doing my homework.

As I sat in the thinking room, Mrs Baggueley entered. "Ryan" she called gently, I raised my head and she signalled me towards her. In her office we went. "Ryan, is something troubling you?" she asked, "No!" I snapped, "well, your behaviour these last few weeks is starting to trouble me Ryan." I raised my eyebrow as I met her stare, "Swearing at a teacher, attacking another pupil, failing to complete homework?" she bagan, "and?" I questioned "My office, each lunchtime until all the missing homework is complete." She said, "What about my dinner?" I cried. "My office Ryan" She stated, I tutted and left.

For the rest of the day I kept my head low. The final bell of the day sounded and off I set, not home, but to the park. I sat on a bench by the lake, so many things weighing on my mind. Just then, my mobile rang 'MIKE' the screen flashed. "Hiya Mike" I could tell by his breathing he was really annoyed at me, "Where are you, its gone 5.30pm?" He said, "Just coming" I said and hung up. I grabbed my bag and started to walk home. As I opened the front door, Mike was stood by the office looking really annoyed "RYAN, OFFICE, NOW!" I slumped into the office threw my bag on the floor. "What have you been up to now Ryan?" Mike snapped. "I went to the park Mike, I was sat by the lake and then, I...I just got carried away..." "at school Ryan!" Mike interrupted. "I don't know what you mean Mike." I sighed. "Cut it out Ryan, you know exactly what I mean!" oh, I sighed, there's no escaping Mike's wrath; I'm going to have to be honest. "Okay Mike, I forgot to revise for my Science test, I didn't know the answers, and....well, I just panicked" I said. "Really, so swearing at a teacher, assaulting another boy, deliberately failing a test?" Mike questioned. "Mike it was football!" I said trying to lighten the mood. "Ryan, I don't want to hear it, you're grounded, no skate park for a week!" he barked. "What???" I stormed out of the room, as I went up the stairs Tyler was just coming out of the bathroom "I warned you" I snarled as I pushed passed him. He didn't respond. I sat in my bedroom ripping up bits of paper and I kicked my bed in rage. A while later a knock came on the door, "Ryan, it's May-Li, I've brought you up something to eat" she said. "Go away, I'm not hungry!" I insisted, "Well, I'll leave it here, you might change your mind," No chance I sighed, far too angry for that! I stayed in my room all night. Tyler knocked just before bed "Ryan it's me" he began, "you've got some nerve" I snapped, "yeah maybe, but I didn't grass you up." And with that he left.
