"Changing clothes just to erase you,
Only to have you in my mind."
-Summer Lucia's music piece page 8
The restaurant must be new because nana never talks about it, which will be so weird. She likes restaurant in the beach. It's a concept she loves the most.
She's been to one before but she hates the taste of it because it doesn't match her tongue.
"So, it's a new place, huh?" I ask Ren.
"Yeah, just opened when you're in hospital. A friend of mine recommended it. She said it cost her so much but yeah, it's worth it."
"She?" I ask. "Gosh, don't tell me. It's your girlfriend?"
"A friend," he replies with an emphasis in friend.
"Seriously. Don't be shy. I mean you're 21 years old now. It's okay to have relationship."
"I'm too busy to have relationship."
The server asks Ren for his name and checks the board. "This way, Mr. Johnson."
Ren and I follow the server to a room near balcony. It's a VIP room, I guess, because it's isolated from others.
"Wine in the house?" the server asks.
"No, I don't drink and my sister won't. The person we're gonna meet, I don't know, probably not."
"You can check the view, you know?" Ren tells me. "It's connected with the balcony."
I open the other door and instantly I can feel the gust of night wind. I don't travel so much at the night, but I guess the feel of wind is kinda nice.
"So, who's this girl?" I ask him.
"Just a simple girl," Ren replies. "You don't have to know about it."
"Ren! Just tell me."
"Okay, okay. She's in make up section. She's a talented make up artist. That's just it."
"Why don't you confess at her?"
"Why should I confess to her? I don't even like her!"
"You must be afraid she'll reject you. Don't worry, she'll find you charming. You're a great guy, Ren."
"Like I said, I'm too busy to have a date. I have my own business that I have to solve it. Dating is not in the book," he tells me."
"Maybe you're just too afraid of commitment?" I ask him.
"I don't care. She's probably a bit like, you know, she thinks that I'm amazing because I'm a talented director and script writer."
"Maybe she likes you," I say. "I mean, who knows?"
"Whatever, Summy. Don't get your head into the sky easily."
"Whatever,"
From a small speaker in the room, the server tells Ren that his guest is here.
"Tell him to go up here," he orders.
"Behave, okay?" he tells me. "Don't be, like starstruck or something."
Then the door opens and once again my eyes meet with Jake Adams's. He's so beautiful up close. I didn't see him like this when he helped me in the set.
He has dirty blonde hair and piercing blue eyes that like ocean. He's very tall, extremely taller than Ren when he stands up to shake hands.
You can see his body is muscular that must be from material arts he has to do for the jobs.
