I'm in the way to go to my dorm with a few of my things. Nana asked me to bring the pale pink gown I bought that time and baby blue gown I have with me because if I get a chance to have my own recital. I'll need them.
Amanda is waiting for me in the parking lot. She cheers up instantly when she sees me. "Gosh! You finally come. I almost thought I should go to your house and drag you here."
"Sorry, sorry, I'm late," I say. "I had to pick up my cousin because her parents have a thing."
"Finally dream comes true, isn't it?" she asks me.
I look around. I'm in here now, Oliver. "Yeah," I say. "Let's get in."
Both of us go to the counter to find who our roommates are. Unfortunately, we're not roommates. But I'm not upset. I think it's a good thing for me to make friends as many as possible.
When we walk together to our dorms with our things, there are a few people who say hello to us and there are also girls that scan us up to down to see if we're fit in their group.
My roommate is a girl with big glasses, major in composition too , just like me and she also is in freshmen year. She's a cellist.
She smiles big when she sees me. "I'm Donna Miles," she says.
"Summer Lucia Johnson," I say. This time, I'll be proud to say that I'm one of Johnsons. Our Johnsons.
"Johnson? As if the famous young director.."
"Little sister," I finish it for her.
"Then your grandpa is the owner of SJ production company?" she asks.
"Yes," I reply. I look around. "My old dorm was almost just like this."
"You've been here before?"
"Yeah, only 3 months," I reply. "But I have a thing, so I resigned. And from competition 2 weeks ago, I got my jacket again."
"Well, it's a good thing."
"Yeah, it is," I say. "Want to check up around?"
"Sure!" she says.
"Summer!" Amanda calls me from outside. "Get your feet here now! I'm bringing my roommate!"
"That's my friend," I tell Donna. "Just come with us."
Amanda's roommate's name is Anna Williams. She's a cellist. Amanda and I exchange looks. Donna and Anna quickly get along because both of them are cellist.
The four of us explore around until we find a recreation room with computers and big TVs inside. Some good-looking girls are inside, watching the live of The Chorus red carpet. There are many stars. Something makes me smile when I see someone who'll make Ren smile later on.
There are gramps and nana and Amanda smiles at me. Ren is also there, as well as Uncle Moon and Aunt Christa with Hana.
I'm a bit sad because it seems like it's only me who's not there.
Katherine comes striding in with beautiful slip gown with perfect hair and smile. She's alone.
"That girl is so perfect, isn't it?" Anna mutters.
"Yeah," Amanda and Donna reply in unison.
I can't say anything since there's something bothering me. Lorraine and Michael come together. They look so great together.
Then I almost laugh when I see Carl and Joan together and they're linking their hands.
Then Ryan comes in. He looks so good with black tuxedo. Beside him, there's a girl. A girl with red hair and amazing body shape. The reporters are shouting Rachel.
So, that's Rachel.
Dean is next. She wears a red body con gown with mermaid skirt. She looks so amazing. Her red lips are on point. She looks healthier and finer than when I saw her lately. I think it's a change.
Then there are many famous people, like the designer, other A to D class actors and actress, important people whom I don't know what, and many others like directors and script writers.
Then Amanda, Anna, and Donna and the girls scream when Jack Jensen striding in. He's walking fast, with his hand holding a girl.
It's Spring Day!
"Who's the girl with Jack Jensen?" Amanda asks.
"I don't know, she covered her face," Anna says.
If Jack's here, it means Jake will be here soon.
More of people are coming, but I don't see him. Where is him? My hands are shaking, waiting to see him.
That's when he's walking slowly. This time, all of us scream.
He's interviewed by the reporter. "Hello, I'm Jake Adams," he says. "This is a good movie, just watch." He smiles and everyone is melted.
"Is there something you want to say or quote?" the reporter girl asks with a flirty smile.
Jake stares at the camera until her piercing blue eyes are looking straight with us. He smiles. "Do you like sunflowers?"
The reporters laugh. And many girls beside me laugh. "What does that mean?" the reporter girl asks.
Jake smirks a bit. "It's for someone to figure it out," he replies. Then he walks away.
Everyone is wondering what does that mean. I can't say anything. I just remember what had he done for me. Taking me to local band, walking side by side with me, making me comfortable, giving those flowers, and many things. I realize I haven't done anything for him.
I exhale my breath. "Sorry, Amanda, Anna, and Donna. There's something I should do now. Bye, guys!"
I quickly go to my room and take a bath. Then I take the pale pink gown and change into it. I bun my hair tidily and put on make up, but not much. I put on the princess cut necklace Aunt Christa made for me.
I'm lucky that I'm not small because I don't bring my heels. I stare at my sneakers foot. God. Whatever, I have to do this.
I run from my dorm to the parking lot. Many people look at me like I'm crazy. But I don't really care.

When I drive, I pass a beautiful clothing store that sells dress for mid thirties or up. I smile and ask for one beautiful dress.
When I finally get it, I pay for it quickly because everyone is looking at me because I'm wearing a floor length gown.
I quickly drive again and when I arrive, I know it will be super embarrassing, but it's worth it. I open door of Clear Deal.
Marge who's there is shocked to see me. She quickly comes and asks me to come to the waitress locker.
I hand her the bag of dress I just bought. "Go change. It's for Jake, please. He wants to meet you. Really."
Marge looks away. "I can't."
"Throw away your pride," I tell her. "Don't you want to meet him?"
"Of course. I'm his mom," she says.
"I know someone who's afraid to talk with their children. But she loves them deeply. One of her children began to hate her and the other became depressed. Then she killed herself because she thought that it's better when everything didn't get better, but just went worst."
Marge looks at me sadly. "But.."
"There's no but," I say. "I came here to help you. I drove from my school just to help you and Jake. Your son helped me so many times and I want to repay it now. If things go worst, I'm the one all to blame."
Marge smiles. "Are you sure?"
"I'm not a beautician. But I'll do my best," I reply with a smile.
"Oh. Don't worry about it, I am a beautician," she says.
