(JAKE)
The shoots begin as usual. Dean has been crazy, but I don't really mind her again since she's been out of control lately. I haven't seen Summer around though.
I kinda feel bad because she's nice, really nice. She would never end up like Dean. This Dean.
The weird thing is I told her many things and she told me many things. It's bad how the things ended between us. Even so, she's still my blog photographer.
So things are going to be awkward now on.
A girl with glasses suddenly comes. "Hello, Sir Johnson. I'm Maya. I'm the intern who's going to replace Summer."
"What?" I grab her arm. "What do you mean? Where's Summer?"
"You don't know? She quit. She went back home yesterday."
"What?" Is she really that mad?
I can't even concentrate in the set. Ryan's right. I made the same mistake just as I did with Rachel.
"Jake! What's with you?" Ren asks.
I stare at Ren. He's her brother. She must have told him everything.
"Why are you staring at me?" Ren asks. "This is not the usual you!"
When the shooting is over, I'm exhausted. Ren comes around and hands me the coat. "Here, Summer told me to give it to you."
"Why did she go back?" I ask him.
"You don't know? I thought you two are close. She has an upcoming competition, so she's going home."
"A competition?"
"Yeah," he replies. "Tomorrow. I have told you. She's only going to be photographer temporarily. Her melody comes back now. Music is her life. She'll leave everything behind. This life as photographer, it's not her."
"Will she be in the premiere?" I ask him.
"Of course. This is her present. Don't you realize? This film is dedicated for her. It's about her. You're playing as my sister."
"Woah,"
"I hope she'll be happy about it. This is her life."
"Yeah, I hope she can win the competition."
"She will," Ren says. "If she win, she'll have her recital. The announcement is next week. She said if she wins, her song will be in classic 101 radio next week after the announcement."
"Then I hope she win."
"Thanks," Ren replies then he leaves me.
Oliver promised me to buy me twelve dozens of roses if I have my own recital.
She must really want a recital to make the guy proud. She may not get the roses, but she's still going to do it.
