Chapter Twenty - Eight

Jaehee's Pov

The members were busy practicing and getting ready for our comeback stage, right now we're in the practice room. We had just about 3 hours of rest and because our bodies were too exhausted from the hours of practice, our energies drained.

Chanyeol took out his earphones and listen to some musics, Suho was still practicing while he sat down, and Kyungsoo was taking a short nap on the floor, he had his head rested on his bag.

As for Baekhyun, he was practicing his vocals but he made sure not to disturb the others. Kai was napping on the floor as well, and Sehun was playing a game on his phone.

The others had left the room and went to do their own business.

We had finally arrived at Music Bank, there were a lot of fans screaming outside and welcoming their favorite idols.

I accidentally caught several fans holding my banners and pictures of me. Truth be told, I look totally handsome in those pictures, probably more handsome than these guys.

I waved at the fans through the window until Manager-nim opened the door and made way for me to get out of the RV, Kai followed behind me then the others.

The Exo-M members were in the RV behind ours, the first person who got out was Tao and as soon as he stepped outside, the fans went wild, even more so when Luhan appeared and then the other members.

Since I had already gotten used to this, I smiled and waved at the fans like a professional. I even let some of the fans take a selfie with me.

Chanyeol was walking beside me, he constantly made a joke which I laughed at every one. Since the day that he helped me out of the RV, fans had been shipping us together and they even gave us shipped names like ChanHee or JaYeol couple which was kind of cute.

They even edited videos of us, I was shook to see how creative our fans were. I was even more embarrassed when Chanyeol caught me watching them and he ended up watching them with me.

But if it's what makes our fans happy then I don't mind.

After we reached the dressing room, we got our hairs and makeups done for a final touch up then we walked out of the room and bumped into 2ne1 sunbae-nims. I heard rumors that Chanyeol had a thing for Sandara sunbae-nim.

I don't know why but my heart ached when I think about it, the pain was definitely there but hidden somewhere in my heart. I didn't want to continue listening to them talk about Chanyeol and Sandara sunbae-nim so I looked away and backed a few meters away from them.

What's worse is that she was my sunbae so I had to respect her but I just couldn't, knowing that Chanyeol probably had feelings for her.

"Hey Chanyeol, don't you have anything to say?" Suho elbowed Chanyeol with a suspicious smile on his face.

I looked at Chanyeol to see his expression but to my surprised he was standing right next to me---I hadn't noticed he had moved all the way back just to take the empty spot next to me---he slipped his hand into mine, he made sure that nobody saw it.

His actions was a little confusing but I was a little thrilled and happy that he held my hand.

"I have nothing to say." He shrugged as he replied to Suho, he gave my hand a little squeeze as he said that.

There were little gasps from the members, probably shocked with what Chanyeol said, I was a little shocked too because it wasn't everyday he got to talk to Sandara sunbae-nim.

Is it me or does Sandara sunbae-nim looks a little disappointed?

It made me wondered how she truly felt about him and how he truly felt about her---were the rumors true or were they just rumors?

Couple of minutes later, we bid the 2ne1 sunbae-nims goodbye and went to change into our stage outfits. All of us wore funny looking clothes with cute hats to complete the look.

Kris and Tao put on a lot of earrings, should I get my ears pierced too?

I had my bangs cut shorter earlier this morning because I couldn't exactly see when I danced so I had to get them shorter to be able to look at where I'd be dancing.

Luhan caught my attention, he was sitting on the sofa and was busy with his phone, he had one piece of earphone in his ear. I walked up to him without thinking and sat next to him, taking one of the earphone and stuck it in my ear.

He was surprised to see me but then he his body relaxed, I guess he still hasn't gotten used to me yet or perhaps he still felt a bit guilty for turning me into something I wasn't before.

"Are you into R&B?" I asked.

He nod his head and searched for songs to play on his phone. "I like all kinds of genre but mostly pop and R&B."

"I see.." It hit me, Although it has been months since I started living with the members, I didn't really know much about them.

"Hey," he called, "Do you want to take a picture with me? I noticed we don't have a lot of pictures of the two of us together." I couldn't express how surprised I was to hear him say that.

It was actually the first time Luhan had asked me to do anything with him.

"Um, sure." He scooted a bit closer to him but it was really awkward because we had never gotten closer like this before, except the time where he had to bit me.

He adjusted the angle of the camera, I tried to show a genuine smile instead of an awkward one. Not long after, I heard a click sound.

When the camera snapped a shot of us, Luhan showed me the photo, we looked really happy in it, like we had no worries in the world. I wish this photo of us could last forever.

"I'll post this on twitter." He said.

"Okay." I smiled as I nodded my head.

I chuckled at his adorable sentence, Luhan was no doubt a  very serious and charismatic person, the only ones who could break down that facade of his were Exo-Ls.

"Why are you laughing?"

I bit my lower lip as I tried to hold back my laughter. "Nothing, it's just you can be really cute at times."

"....I am not cute." He looked away.

Wait, could it be? Is Luhan pouting? I'm seeing a lot of new sides of him.

"Okay, you're manly. Happy now?"

He looked at me and before we knew it, we were both laughing. I didn't know I was capable of laughing this much especially with Luhan.

Luhan's phone kept ringing with notifications, we looked at it and my jaw dropped when I saw the photo of us that we posted earlier already had 1,000+ comments.

So this is the power of Exo huh?

"Alright Exo, gather around. Let's do a cheer before we go up on stage." We all turned our heads to Suho who had instructed us to gather around him. We got off the sofa and quickly went over to him.

We huddled in a circle and sling our arms around each other's shoulders---Chanyeol and Luhan were on each sides of mine.

"We worked really hard for this comeback stage so let's give it our all. But most importantly, let's have fun out there okay?!" Said Suho and the rest of us cheered, "Okay!"

"EXOOOOOOO!!"

"SARANGHAJA!"
