Chapter Fifteen

Jaehee's Pov

We walked all the way back to the music show, well technically I wasn't walking, more like I was piggybacked by Luhan as he ran with an incredible speed, this was my second time riding on his back but I still couldn't get used to it.

"Where have you been?!" The first thing that greeted us was the voice of angry Suho who wouldn't stop nagging at us. I was actually a bit shocked because it was my first time to see him get all angry, but I couldn't blame him though. He must have been really worried.

"I-" I was about to say something when someone cut me off. "Do you know how worried we were?!" Kai stood next to Suho as he glared at the two of us, he looked about ready to murder someone.

I was scared to look at them both in the eye so I lowered my head the whole time they were scolding us. "We're sorry." 

I didn't want to but I couldn't stop myself from crying, I didn't know what has gotten into me today, probably the shock from earlier still hasn't left my body.

"It's not your fault." I lifted my head due to a familiar voice, it was as if a spell had cast upon me because as soon as I heard him, I suddenly felt all better.

Chanyeol walked in between Suho and Kai and stood right in front of me, he had that sweet smile on his face, the one that I loved so much because of the comfort it always gave me.

I was happy to see him but I felt guilty for making him worried.

He sighed in relieved. "We're just glad you both came back unharmed, but promise me you won't go off on your own again okay?" he rested his hands on my shoulders, giving it a small squeeze as he stared at me, it was as if he was staring right into my soul.

It was incredible how nothing else mattered whenever I was around him, like I was in some sort of spell that I couldn't get out off.

I hugged him on impulse, I didn't know what had gotten over me but I just wanted to feel his warmth at that moment.

"Jaehee-ah.." Chanyeol's breath tickled my ears but I didn't bother to pull away.  He stayed frozen for a while before he wrapped his arms around me and hugged me tightly against his chest.
