I opened my eyes, with Abel beside my pillow. I was just so happy to see the sun streaming in through the window. Most especially, shining on his face as if his face shone. I got up from the bed, revealing his eyes closed and asleep with no shirt at all. Maybe that was how guys sleep. Even Tate, he slept with no shirt. Then I went to his side where he was facing, then shook his body quickly.
"It's nine-thirty in the morning, wake up!" She yelled, panicking as I still shook his body. I was surprised when I wasn't touching any body at all, it was a matter of time before I found out that he vanished and went behind me.
"What did you do last night?" I asked him, surprised to see him wake up later than me. Because he usually wakes up way earlier than me. Abel rubbed his eyes then looked at me. "I watched."
I raised an eyebrow. "Just watched?"
"And did other things the whole night. I borrowed your phone."
I shook my head and rolled my eyes at him. I would gladly allow him to use my phone, for as long as he wouldn't destroy it.

We were at the beach, currently going out of the car. We were surprised to see very countable people, lesser than I had expected. I realized it was the weekdays. I was very glad about that fact. Now it was our time to shine. But, it was a coincidence. . .I looked at the sky through my sunglasses. The sky was clear and there was no sign of bad weather at all.
The water was very blue, it had also boats and other water vehicles on it.
We were taking a slow walk, enduring the pain my feet were feeling. I only had thin slippers, so the hot temperature of the sand was being felt by my feet. This pair of slippers could hardly even work.
I found a spot which wasn't surrounded with people. We started building our shade together, and we were too lucky because the sea view was clear and was not obscured.
I went inside the shade to block my body from the scorching sun and to prepare my body first.
"Wait for me, Selene. I'm just going to take a look at the beach. My curiosity wouldn't stop."
"I perfectly understand. That's how I feel sometimes."
I removed my clothes, revealing my plain and simple white bikini. I was glad to put my swimwear under my clothes. I saved my effort of waiting and waiting for the other girls to change in a long time.
"It's been a long time, Clarissa, isn't it?" Valerie suddenly appeared before us right at the time I removed the pants from my left leg.
I stood to face her. If I wouldn't, my good repute would be ruined. Especially, her friends were just nearby, watching and probably getting another video of me.
"Yeah? Since what, Valerie?" I raised an eyebrow and stared at her sullenly.
She stared from head to toe, then looked at me directly. "Since we talked," she shrugged.
"And? What're you gonna do again?" I wanted to challenge this girl.
"We're just gonna talk."
"Oh, come on, V. Let's stop this. Any connection with your boyfriend and me has already been cut."
"When will I ever believe such a liar named Clarissa?"
"Right now. Because I'm gonna explain it briefly to you. Adam admitted to me that he loved me, and I also did. So we had a relationship for almost a long time, but when Vanessa told me that he had a girlfriend which is you, I ended it." I just wanted this girl to fuck off, was that wrong?
"Liar!" She even jabbed a finger at me. "He told me you were the one who loved him first and then when you told him that, he loved you back. And you were aware that he has a girlfriend. But he said that you said you didn't care as long as I didn't know about the both of you."
I sighed. "Don't you get it, V? Didn't you think that maybe he was just telling stories for you not to let him go? He's afraid, Valerie. Just because I ended it."
Valerie could've had talked, but I knew she stared at Abel so unusually. And I wasn't jealous at all, it was helpful for him showing up. I was getting excited for what was to come.
"Who the hell are you?" Every wrinkle on her face was gone.
He pointed at himself, then raised both his eyebrows. "Me?" He asked.
She stepped closer and side-glanced at me with a wicked smile. "Yeah, who else? Maybe you want some smoothie?"
Shirtless Abel laughed. "No, I'm contented with the view."
"You mean this view?" She giggled pointing at her face.
He wildly shook his head. Attaboy. "No," he said, grabbing me by the wrist. "This view."
Abel Mullen was kissing me so hard on the lips in an instant. After that, he told the girl: "So fuck off, bitch. I have my own."
"Well, just remember that the both of you won't last long. I'm pretty sure you'll find out soon enough her darkest secret."
"I have dark secrets. I have a lot of them." We'd never been close friends.
"It's a good thing you know, Clarissa. I highly suggest you tell your boyfriend the darkest and deepest one."
I was as furious as a red bull that I attacked her. "What do you know?" I asked with clenched teeth.
"Quit squeezing my neck, Clarissa. I can always call the cops." I just want to see Mother before I die . . . I obeyed. "You can never run away from your sins."
