"Anyway, who's next?" Tate decided to speak for me.

Abel volunteered, raising his hand without even speaking. "Truth?" Tate raised an eyebrow.

He smiled very widely, then chuckled. And then he nodded his head.

Tate stared at him for a long time, giving a serious face. "Tell me," he lowered his voice, then glared at him all of a sudden. "Why didn't you react when that stupid girl danced on your body?" He asked, and knew Abel was trapped.

He grinned, then laughed quietly. "Jeez, you really won't let anyone forget that situation, will you?" He said.

Tate raised his eyebrows. "Do you even think I would forget that all along?" He grinned.

"Tate, I was drunk. And inactive," he said serenely.

I closed my eyes because I could sense nuisance here.

"Like I said, that's not a good excuse," he said abruptly.

"What then is a good excuse for you, huh?" He sniggered in mockery as he talked.

"Even if you're drunk or sober, you still should know what's good or not," Alex leaned his back then pointed his head using his finger. "Or maybe, you're lying and being drunk is your only excuse and it's your intention, isn't it?" He smiled wickedly. "Because if you were really a sober, then you should've avoided Valerie."

Abel was furious that he thumped the table so hard that the wines in the glasses almost spilled. "No, let's just say you do enjoy being a man-whore to every girl there. And you do enjoy playing girls, and maybe that includes your own best friend," he stood and gestured to the guy to stand up. "Don't you plan to steal another kiss from her?" He asked, frowning. He glanced at me very quickly and gave me an apologetic look. I always knew these two would end up fighting each other.

He turned back to Tate. "Once you'll manage to get another, don't expect that you'll get something more than that. Beware from those."

"I don't ever intend to steal another kiss from her," Tate defended and looked at me. "And never will I expect something more than that."

Abel made his eyes narrow as he stared suspiciously at him. Tate was sweating, scared about anything that could happen. "Never will you expect something more than that?" He said slowly. "I can already read your mind although I don't have the ability. You fucking like Selene," he pointed at me. "You have feelings for your own best friend!"

Tate's fists were clenched. What was wrong if he had feelings for his own best friend, anyway? He wasn't a bad person. And if Abel weren't here, if he didn't came into my life to light me up, then I would go to him. I always loved him, anyhow.

But incredulity led to his own uncontrollable fury. He quickly stood then moved quickly to fight Abel. He lifted his shirt, his body was almost in the air. Everyone wouldn't definitely just watch, so we all stood to get them away from each other.

"Yeah, and what's wrong if I like her? You're jealous?" Tate asked, his eyes glued on Abel.

"Hey, stop that!" Angeni yelled, then suddenly appeared beside Tate. Her hands were pulling his, but Tate was a werewolf and was in fact stronger. Tate seemed to realize what he was doing because he looked at us and dropped his enemy's shirt.

Abel fixed his messy shirt, then stared sullenly at Tate who was starting to walk away. He couldn't even control the anger inside him, he really had enough of him. He chased him, with his vampire run, then went atop him after he pushed him backwards, landing him back-first on the floor. Tate tried to move to get loose possibly, and then he successfully did, dropping Abel hardly on the floor instead.

Time was so swift, in just a blink of an eye I didn't know they were punching each other already. I was so concerned about them that I immediately went to help Abel get up. "Hey, are you okay?" I asked him worriedly. He grunted, but his eyes were still opened. "I'm... I'm okay," he said, words were barely audible.

I peeked at Tate, who was already running away toward the forest. Rov tried to follow him, but I stopped him. "Rov," I called. Their vampire new names were too long that I made up nicknames for them. He looked at me.

"It's fine, you don't have to," I half-whispered.

He smiled, nodded then went back beside his wife. "What the hell is wrong with him?" Angeni raised her voice, her eyebrows meeting when she looked at the door. I helped Abel got up. "I'm gonna go check up on him," his face was still angry. He already vanished before anyone could manage to stop him.
