"Who're you talking to?" He asked without any stare. His eyes were glued at the tv, watching some random show in a random channel.
From the phone, I looked at him. "It's Vanessa. One of my best friends," I replied. "It's going to be her birthday tomorrow. I'm just greeting her."
I had spoken for another set of minutes of having the full details. "By the way, she's inviting us to her birthday party tomorrow night," I told him, putting down the phone. I was happy that someone talked and finally broke the silence. "And I'm expecting right now that she'll insist us to wear some formal dresses for it. She even asked me to infect her as a gift, now that she knew I went there to Grezsatly," I flashed a grin. But just to be sure, I asked this: "Is that legal to our rules? If we have one."
"As long as they keep it as a secret. Because if not, we're gonna be in huge danger," he frowned as he glanced at me. "Tell her that blood is required for a good health. If she wanted a good health."
"We're going to a party. So that means we're gonna have a lot of fun? Sex, drugs, and liquor are present there?"
"Maybe." Most of the parties Vanessa and I go to were wild parties. But we didn't go all the time. "Hopefully not."
"I think our dinner for tonight is macaronis," I stood and jogged going to the kitchen. Due to too much boringness, I thought about today's dinner. Sometimes in blank air, I could think pretty well. I went to pull another kitchen chair for a lifter. I stood over it for me to reach and open the cabinet. Abel casually walked toward me.
I found that the macaroni pack was in the farthest corner of the wide cabinet, I stretched my right hand as far as it could and I was grunting at the effort. I did not know that because of too much persistence of reaching that goddamn macarons my feet were also helping me to move and it was when I was almost done reaching the macarons, I lost my balance for the hundredth time and when I did, it felt like I was falling from the highest building and I already knew that I was going to hurt my head.
It was when my knight-in-shining-armor prevented that risk successfully. Very successfully, Abel. He held me in his arms and I saw his smile. "Why are you so beautiful, Selene? It makes me obsessed with you," he complained as he looked away, tilting his head.
"Ask the One who created me," I said and noticed he was not yet letting me go. My back was starting to ache. "Let me go now, Abel. Can you?"
"No. . ." He glanced back at me. He bit his lip showing a message with a meaning I clearly got. "No?" He asked.
As soon as I very instantly bit my lip harder, he carried my body and we immediately got into my room.
When he let me go, I thought everything was done. He tickled me on the lower ribs. On the fleshy part, not the bony one. That would be seriously painful. I laughed like a little girl who was tickled by her father. Only I was tickled by my boyfriend.
"Stop it!" I shouted in the middle of a laugh, but quickly knew that he didn't hear me. "Stop, please!" I squirmed to get loose from his muscular arms but eventually lost my balance.
He finally let me go after a minute. I was about to speak but I found out that my lungs needed oxygen.
He leaned closer to me, and cupped my face in his cold hands. "I love you each day and I'm not going to be sick of saying that," he said very silently and kissed my lips.
"How many. . ." That was the third attempt of trying to complete my statement. Abel gave me a chance to talk. "How many times do you have to entice me by a kiss, Abel?"
"Infinitely," his words came in the softest whisper and went for another kiss. The girl inside me felt the romance in that kiss, the genuine love of him for me is immeasurable.
We removed our clothes so swiftly as if we were in such a rush. I laid my head on the pillow slowly as I kissed his lips very hardly.
