Gues whos coming to dinner?

"Uh hey Reyna can we talk in the hallway real quick?". "Yeah". I followed behind her to the hallway. "What's up?". "Why is Khodie here?". "We are going some where after together I didn't think it was a big deal". "No heads up or nothing I look horrible". "Please Janai it's just Khodie". "What if I didn't want her to know where I lived?". "Looks it's gonna be fine". "Okay".

We walked back in the office. "Well y'all can get started I'm gonna go get your present from up stairs". "Do you need any help Janai?". "Uh no Khodie I got it". I went upstairs to my room into my closet and I got the picture I drew of Reyna and I brought it down to my office. I sat it in front of her and I watched her unwrapped it with a huge smile on her face. "Omg this is amazing Janai. Your too talented girl. I love it so much".  "You really like it?". "Yes I'm gonna hang it up in my house when I get home". "Awe I feel appreciated".

"So what are we putting labels on boxes for Janai?". "For my business I sell paintings and sculptures and figurines". "That's really dope I'm glad you found what you wanted to do after all".  "Yeah me too Khodie".  "So what are you doing for the rest of the day Nai". "Uh probably relax since I'm not feeling too good. I have dinner with my folks later on around six at J Alexanders".  "Ooh y'all fancy but when's your next appointment". "In two weeks why what's up?". "I want to come duh why would I ask".

"So how long have you been married Janai?". "A year that's it". "You happy?". "I mean I would like to think so Khodie. Are you happy with Cymia".  "Yeah absolutely". "Well good".  "We have to go now Nai but I'll text you later". "Okay guys im going to go take a nap".  "Okay bye".

I walked them out and I pulled out a dress for tonight and my husband clothes and I got in the bed and snuggled up with my dog. My back was killing me.

After me and Reyna did what we had to do I went back to my crib. Cymia was washing her hair in the bathroom. "Hey bae" I smacked her ass as I walked by. "Mm what got you in a good mood?".  "Just happy to see you. Hey we should go out to dinner tonight". "Really where?". "How about J Alexander's". "Mm fancy I love that place". "Cool cool look really nice okay". "Oh okay I'm excited". "Good".

The only reason I'm going is to spy on Janai and her husband. I hate saying that her husband. That shouldn't even be a thing I should be her wife. I'm going to be her wife end of story. It's not that I'm not in love with Cymia it's just she wasn't meant for me. Janai was! Sometimes people are just a road block to the person who really matter.

I hopped in the shower and I washed my hair. "So what's the occasion that we are going to such a special place". "Just want to take you out for a treat". "Mm okay".  I really miss Janai I miss holding her and kissing her. Fuck! I should have never fucked Cymia. I shouldn't have entertained it and I know I was wrong.

I woke up to my husband kissing my face. "Mmm hey baby daddy". "Hey baby mama. How are you feeling?". "I'm better I must have just needed to rest". "I could believe it. Your always working on this and that project. You need to chill sometimes. You have to remember that your pregnant". "I know I know but I laid your clothes out for tonight". "Awe thank you that's so sweet". He went and turned on his game on and sat beside me in the bed.

"Uh no we don't have time for video games". "But we have a little time. Just a little". "Fine you got time for one basketball game while I got put on my makeup". "Okay so I get thirty minutes". "Yes and that's all". I kissed his head as I went to the bathroom.  "Focus on me can you just focus on me". I sung Her's song called Focus to myself as I did my makeup. I've been loving wigs right now so that's all I've been wearing for the moment.

After finishing my makeup. I washed my hands and I walked into the bedroom. Channing was still in the spot I left him in eyes glued to the tv screen. "Babe I said thirty minutes". I walked in front of him. "Come on get dress. You know how my dad acts if we are late"! "I know I know". He looked up at me and bite his lip. "Damn come here". He pulled me on his lap and he started to kiss my neck. "Mm bae we don't have time for this". "We might have a little time give me like thirty minutes". "No come on please". He started to suck on my neck. "Please babe we can do this later when we get home". "Really?". "Yeah later I promise" I kissed him and i hopped off his lap and he smacked my booty.

"Go get dress boy". I put on my olive green long sleeve dress.  And he put on his black button down shirt and olive green pants and black shoes. His hair was long and curly down to his shoulders. 

We walked into the the restaurant and we sat with my parents.  "Hey my favorite couple". My dad said to us smiling. "Hey daddy, mama". "Hey my baby. How's the baby doing?". "We are great. Channing has been taking great care of us". "Yeah that's my boy he better be".  "So what's new?".

"So we have decided to move into a nicer and bigger house". "Really that's exciting". Daddy and Channing were off having there own conversation and me and mom was talking and eating then out of the blue khodie and Cymia walks by our table and sat across from us. 

"Really? They have to sit right across from us". I rubbed my belly as my baby moved. "Don't worry about them Nai". Khodie waved at us and my mom waved back and I just rolled my eyes. "What is she doing here?" My dad said meanly. "Dad it's a public place she's open to go where ever she wants". "Who is that?". "Just someone I use to know". "Mm oh why don't we invite them over?". "No bae that's not necessary". "No come on don't be rude".

He motioned then other and he grabbed two chairs for them. Khodie sat by my mom and Cymia sat by my dad. My mom hugged Khodie closely. "How have you been holding up since we last talked Khodie?". "I've been good Ms. Sabbi". "That's good I'm so proud of you". I stunned my mom still talked to my ex? Why would she do that? 

I moaned in pain my baby kicked me hard. "What's wrong babe?". "The baby kicked me hard". He rubbed my belly and he kissed temple. "Daddy's baby. I love you". I just smiled at him. How could I be so lucky.  "So Janai I was wondering since I just so happen to run into you. Can you draw me for my album cover?". "Uh I don't know. I've never done an album cover before I don't  know if I would do a good job". "Please Ive seen what you can do".

"Yeah Janai why don't you do it" my husband said to me. "Fine I'll do it. We can get started in a couple of days". "Cool thanks and I'll pay for your work". "Okay good well we need to get home" my hubby said to everyone. "Right we do got some stuff to do". I got up and he walked behind me and caressed my booty cheek and I laughed.

Thank god for my horny husband I got out of that awkward situation. Cymia kept staring at me the entire time they were sitting with us.

I changed my clothes and i pulled my curly hair in ponytail. "So album art?". "Yes I need the work done". "You knew she was gonna be there huh?". "What? I didn't know any thing". "Your so fucking dumb do you know that. You make me sick!". She pushed my head back.

"Why are you angry with me". "Because I see what your trying to do. A romantic evening my ass. Your trying to get her back". "Okay look I knew she was going to be there yes but I just needed to talk to her that's all". "That's all?". "Yes nothing more nothing less".  "Mm some how I don't believe you. You say you love me and stuff but you will never love me how you love her huh?". "Listen me and Janai shared something different then what you and I share. She was going to be my wife".

"And what does that make me? You don't want to marry me". "Uh no not right now no".  "What is not right now". "Like I said not right now Cymia and I'm done talking about this". "Fine be done then but you better listen to me your not gonna have me out here looking stupid behind your ass. You better not try to ruin that girls marriage". "We just gonna be working together that's all" "Yeah better just be working together or I will hurt you". She stormed out the room.

Fuck now Cymia is mad at me. I can't just have a good day.  I'm not trying to ruin Janai's marriage. I'm not gonna do anything that she doesn't want me to do. Like I said anything SHE doesn't want me to do!
