Because of you: Never Ever

Just a kiss

It's been a couple of days and I called up Khodie to come to my studio to start getting to work on this picture. I drove to my studio across town and I parked my car and I had a box waiting for me outside. I picked up the box and I got my keys to try and open the door but I dropped my keys. "Whoa let me hold the box before you fall".  I turn around and Khodie was standing behind me. "Oh thanks". I handed her the box and I opened my door and I turn the lights on.

"Whoa this is amazing". She was walking around admiring my art. I pulled out my canvas and my paint and brushed and my camera and laptop. "You can sit on that stool right there".  I picked up my camera. "Make any poses that you want". I started to snap pictures. I put in the SD card into my computer and i was looking through the pictures.

I traced every picture. I forgot how sexy she was geez. "Stop I love that one". "You want me to use that one. I personally think it looks sexy". "Oh so you think I'm sexy". "Uh no I meant for your fans you know". "Yeah uh huh it's okay if you think I'm sexy Janai".  She walked by me and she put her hand on my shoulder. My baby started to move around so I got up. I rubbed my belly and then she placed her hands on my belly as well. "Is it alright if I touch your belly". "Uh yeah it's fine". She wrapped her arms around me and pulled me into a hug. "Is it okay if I hug you?". I wanted to say back the hell up. "No it's fine it actually feels good".

Why do I feel so nervous.  I looked up at her and she looked down at me and she kissed me and I kissed her back. Damn two years later and she has an affect still on me. "Mm stop". I backed away from her. "Look I'm sorry I shouldn't have kissed you. I mean your married". "No it's okay I sorta wanted you to". "Really?". "Yeah but I don't know why I wanted to or what that kiss meant. I think it would be best if you left". She started to grab her things. "I'm really sorry Janai". "Khodie just go please". I sat back down and I watched her leave. I put my face in my heads. I sighed to myself what have I gotten myself into?

I walked to my car with a smile on my face. She actually kissed me back she didn't turn down my kiss.  I'm really happy. Maybe I still have a chance. I got in my car and I called up Reyna. "What's up Khodie?". "Hey so listen. I need your help". "Uh okay I'm down what is it". "I need you to help me get Janai back". "Wh-What? Khodie she's married and pregnant". "So what I just want my wife okay I don't care about that nigga". "Look I love you and I love her but I don't know if I want to be a part of this". "Please Rey for me". "Uh I don't know let me think on this for a while". "Fine okay just let me know when you've made a decision". "Alright bye". "Bye".  I drove back to my house.

I hopped on the couch right by Cymia. "What's up with you?". "Just really happy today". "And why are you so happy and smiley about?". "What I can't be all happy?". "No especially after being with Janai. What happen?". "Nothing much we just talk and she started in my picture nothing serious". "Hmm yeah what ever. I missed you all day baby".

She laid across my lap and I ran my fingers through her hair. Man I do love this girl we have a great bond but I'm not in love with her. I know I will feel bad for deceiving her. Should I just break up with her now? Or continue to be with her while trying to get Janai back? I don't know if I will succeed so I will have her to fall back on.

I got home and I took my shoes off. I walked up stairs into my husbands office. "Hey J". "Hey babe". "So how did it go today". "Uh it went good I guess. I missed you". "I missed you too my love. I have to go on a short trip for a few days". "How long and when". "I leave the day after tomorrow and few like four days". "Yeah well that's not long.  I guess I'll go get you all packed". "Awe thank you baby". I kissed his forehead as I walked up to our bedroom and I laid in bed and I watched a movie.

It was about a woman and she was married with a baby but then she met this woman and basically fell in love with her behind her husbands back. I got a call from Reyna. "Yes ma'am". "So how did it go?". "How did you hear?". "Khodie of course but how did you feel about the whole situation?".  "Well it would have never happened if my husband wasn't so persistent". "Wait so Channing wanted you to do the picture? Does he know about you guys past?". "He thought it would be good for my career it's something completely different then what I've done. But he doesn't know about us he just thinks we were friends".

"Hmm well I can see how that would be helpful". "We kissed". "Shut the front door...what?". "Yeah it wasn't intentional but it happened and it felt great. I feel bad tho". "Well yeah but if it was a one time thing don't make a big deal about it" "I won't make it a big deal. I can't be alone with her. I get all weird". "Maybe you still have feelings for her". "I know I do but I can't cheat on my husband". "Yeah you can't it's against your vows". "Yeah but I'll talk to you later okay. I have to get Channing ready for his trip". "Okay love you". "I love you too Rey".
