It has been four years since Jade left Porum. Jade was now living back in New Mexico. She helps her parents out at the ranch. It's pretty much, what keeps her going and also has job as a physical therapist and now works at a local hospital.

"Dad... You need to do your stretches" said Jade

"But my back is sore" Austin whined

"That's the whole point of stretching dad... It relaxes your muscles"

"Whatever you say kid"

Jade has been her dad's therapist ever since she got the job. She loves it. Her dad visits her once a month, due to lower back pain. When he sees her for appointments, he's this non grumpy person. At home it's whole different story. He's grumpy and don't want to do the stretches. Jade still wins between the two.

Every weekend, she would go roping or rodeo'n. Jade is still single and living it up. The one dream she wanted to live is rodeo for a living. She had the talents and attitude to be a professional rodeo athlete. Instead she put that on hold.

Jade decided to go round up some steers for practice. She went out to the pasture and rounded up twenty head. She hauled them to the arena and started to horn wrap. She was bout done when her buddy come pulling up.

"Hey Jade" says Caiden

"Hey Cade"

"Need help"

"Uh... No... just bout done.. but thanks though.. I'm gonna go switch horses"

"Ok"

Jade loaded up her horse and drove back to the barn. Jade had bout five horses that were starting out. Since, she didnt have time for Stark, Scoop, and Chancey; she retired them. They now stay out in the pasture and graze all day. Every now and then she'll ride em but not as much. Mainly just to keep them in check.

Jade came riding back to the arena, riding her new horse Jester and two other horses. These horses are all five year olds. She loved training her own horses. Something to keep her mind off of the past. Sometimes the memories will flood back in a instant. She'll always come up with something to do. Right now, all she wants to do is rope with her new buddy Caiden.

"You ready Cade" Jade asked

"Yeah.. Let me grab my glove" Caiden said, riding back to his trailer.

The two of em roped all afternoon. They shared nothing but a few tips and laughs. They met at a rodeo in Arizona, during the winter season. Ever since, they became close friends. She liked Caiden but nothing more than a friend. To her, it seemed like she knew him for a long time. Caiden is pretty much the only one she ropes with. She hasn't heard from Cody and Tyler in a while. She quit on them.

"I think I'm done for the day Jade.. What bout you" said Caiden

"Yeah.. These guys are wearing me out"

"Alright... Thanks for the spins... Can we rope Sunday"

"No problem... Yeah we can.. Let me know what time"

"Alright.. See ya then Jade"

"Yep"

Before Caiden unsaddled, he helped Jade out with the cattle. He helped pull wraps and put em back in the pasture. Jade thanked him and head back to the arena. She head back to pick up her two horses, then rode back to the barn.

After she unsaddled, Jade started feeding the horses and watering em. She miss seeing her boys in the barn but she preferred them to be in pasture. The horses that carried her far and wide, they deserve to be wild and free. They would come home at times, only to get water.
