Tough Love

He stood there looking at her. She looked at him.

"LJ?" She questioned

"Hey Jade" LJ said

"Uh.. what brings you here"

"Came to say Im sorry"

"For"

"What?"

"What are you sayin sorry for.. we basically haven't seen or talk to each other in three months.. and I gave up a month after the incident.. what are you really here for"

"You"

"Oh... what bout me"

"That I.. uh.. I miss you.. and I still love you"

"huh.. well I'm flattered.. but dont waste your time on me"

"My time was never wasted on you"

"if I wasnt a waste of your time, than why did you leave.. before I could even explain what really happened"

LJ looked at her with a confused look. This wasnt the same Jade he once knew. Jade the sweet and innocent girl he loved. Now shes more hard headed than before.

"I panicked... what was I suppose to do"

"Panicked? LJ, you left"

"Wheres the old Jade? The Jade I once knew"

"Well shes long gone.. after what she seen what you've been doing"

"How did you.. kn.."

"I saw you... redhanded again"

"Why didnt you say anything"

"You were drunk, all over some random girl and I didnt want to ruin your fun.. should be thankful I didnt"

Jade closed the door on him. She walked back to the kitchen and finish cooking. She turned and saw LJ standing by the table. She turned and pulled out two plates from the cabnit. LJ sat down across from her. They sat in silence. Only sound was the utensils hiting the plates. Jade was done eating and started cleaning up. She was washing dishes when LJ came up behind her. He snaked his arms around her body.

"Jade.. can we talk... please"

Jade didnt say anything. She continued to wash dishes. LJ pulled the dishes and wash cloth out of her hand. He picked her up and carried her to the living room. He sat her on his lap. Jade didnt care, she just went along with it. Deep down she knew was gonna give in sometime. There was no way she can resist him. She had her head down.

"Jade listen to me.. please"

Jade looked at him. Trying to read his expression. She nod her head.

"Jade... I love you.. and Im never gonna stop. The reason why I left because I thought Ive losted you. I dont know why I didnt think of it twice. You tried calling and you even tried to stop me from boarding my flight, so you can explain. I shouldve just listened instead of taking off like I did. It took me three months to realize. I dont want anyone but you. Yes Ive been with girls but it never got any further than a peck on the lips. I regret every second of it. Babe your everything to me. Your my life. Without you Im nothing."

Jade had tears running. LJ wiped em away. She cant hold back any more. She leaned in to kiss him. Tears still running and LJ pulls her closer.

"Do.. I.. still... need.. to.. explain... what.. happened" Jade said between kisses

"No... dont.. worry.. about it.. babe" LJ said

Then Jade pulled away trying to get her air back. She really missed his warm and sweet kisses. LJ leaned his forehead against hers, having a staring contest.
