Jade woke up the next morning. Surprisingly she didnt have a hangover after what happened last night. She walked over to the bathroom. Jade looked in the mirror and her hair was wildly all over the place. Then she did her business and walked back out.

Her phone beeped. Jade looked at and it was blown up with missed calls and text messages. Then she looked on her left hand and seen an enagaement ring.

"This wasnt a dream.. I am litterally engaged to LJ" She said to herself

She looked down again and smiled. It was a beautiful ring. Then she focused on her phone. Seeing missed calls from her parents, siblings, and friends. She didnt know who to call first. Jade was about to call her parents first but LJ woke up.

"Morning babe" he said in a sleepy voice

"Morning... its weird how I didnt hear my phone ring. Ive got a bunch of missed calls and text messages"

"I wonder why" LJ said with an raised eyebrow

"Can you remind me again"

LJ looked at his phone and it was the same thing. He cleared it and went on youtube. He typed in the search box. Over thousand people recorded their engagement. LJ played one of em and Jade watched it.

"theres your answer babe" LJ said

"Oh my god! I wasnt dreaming"

LJ got up from the bed and walked to the bathroom. Jade sat there, wondering who she should call first. Her mom or her dad? Either way they are both gonna know. She dialed her mom's number.

"Hello"

"*screams* honey I need details"

"oh dont give me that innocent tone young lady... Im talkin bout you being engage to LJ"

"Honestly mom.. I wasnt even expecting it at all. One moment they called my name, then Im watchin a clip and then the spot light shines on LJ. Who was down on one knee. It was nice"

Jade smiled at her moms name. She missed her family. Right as she locked her phone, Tyler called.

"Hello"

Jade hanged up her phone. By the time she hanged up, LJ walked out. He walked towards Jade. Jade leaned back and is now layin on the bed, with LJ hovering over her.

"so uh.. what did my future mother in law say" he asked

"Happy for us.. and you gotta meet the whole family.. when I mean the whole family.. I mean both sides.. my dads and my moms side of the family"

"Ok"

Jade grabbed her phone and dialed her dad's number. Honestly she was feelin a little nervous herself. Normally shes never nervous around her dad at all. She was thinkin when an male voice come on, on the other side of the line.

"Jade.. is that you"

"Hey dad"

"Hi sweetheart... so.. tell me the news.. your mom here is walkin around with a smile"

"LJ proposed dad"

"I saw that on television... and I am... very happy for the both of you.. is he sittin right next you right now"

Jade removed the phone from her ear and put it on speaker. She told LJ, her dad wanted to talk to him. He had a of slight scareness on his face.

"Good morning Austin"

"Morning LJ.. Congrats on your engagement. "

"Thank you sir.. can you hold on for a moment"

"Jade can I speak to your father in private. Please" LJ asked

"Yeah" Jade said

Jade got up and walked in the living room, closing the door behind her.

"I just wanna say is thank you for your blessing.. it means alot"

"No problem kid.. just keep my daughter happy"

"will do sir... oh we need to plan an engagement party.."

"Ill let you handle that with Jen. But umm.. if you need anything else.. just give me a call.. alright"

'Did I just say later to my father in law' LJ thought. He layed back down on the bed. Thinkin of ideas for their engagement party. He wants it to a be a surprise. But still wondering where he should have it. At Jade's or her parent's house. How many people will show? All this thinkin put him in deep thought. He has to call Jennifer sometimes this week when Jade is not in the house.
