Oklahoma to Texas

LJ woke up in a empty bed. He looked around and recognized he wasnt in Oklahoma. The smell of breakfast hit him. He walked downstairs and saw Jade cookin breakfast.

"Good morning" he whispered

"Morning love" she said back

LJ gave her a peck on the cheek. He turned around and set the table. Jade was done cooking the panacakes and eggs. She set it down on the table. Then walked over to the frigerator for syrup and orange juice.

"What are you gonna do today" LJ asked

"Practice... Cody is coming by"

"Oh...what time"

"he should be here sometimes in the afternoon... why"

"well.. I was lookin forward to hangin out with you"

"and what exactly are you doing now"

"thats not what I ment"

"oh... well theres always tonight"

"alone"

"maybe"

"Im done eatin.. Ill do the dishes while you get ready"

"No... I am not gonna let my guest do my dishes.."

"Jade... its the least I can do"

"Its ok LJ... I can do it"

"Alright"

Jade watched him walk off. He seemed a little upset. Jade just shook it off and did the dishes. After she was done, she walked in the living room, cleaning up. Then she heard a phone, which she thought was hers. She found it between the cushions on the couch. She grabbed it and it had a passcode. His last passcode spelled out Jade's name. She tried it, and it didnt work. Then she thought Christens. She tried and that didnt work either. She tried the date from their first date, during Red Bluff. The phone unlocked, she smiled. It was a text message from Justin.

'hey bud! when do you wanna do your lil speech'

Jade didnt open the text message. She left it on the arm rest of the couch. After she straighten up the living room, she went upstairs to get ready. She walked in on LJ, lookin at something.

She walked to her dresser to grab her clothes. At the corner of her eye, she saw him quickly put it in his pocket. Jade turned around and walked into the bathroom. Jade started undressing when she felt a pair of hands on her waist. She let out a long sigh.

"Yes" she questioned

"why you mad" he asked

"Im not..." she said in a soft voice

"I dont believe you"

"whats there to believe in"

"Jade... whats really bothering you"

"nothin"

"Jade seriously"

"Scared"

She got in the shower, not sayin another word. She stood under the hot shower, relaxing her tensed muscles. Many thoughts runnin in her mind. Mainly about LJ. She turned off the shower and got dressed. Jade walked in the bedroom but LJ wasnt in sight. She didnt see his bags either. Jade saw LJ sittin on the couch. She sat across from him.

"What are you scared of Jade" he asked

"you"

"why"

"cause im scared you might leave again... and I.. I just cant"

LJ got up and walked towards her.

"babe.. im not going anywhere... Im right here! why would you think that"

"I dont know... I just do"

"Jade.. babe.. you know I cant keep promises.. but one thing I can keep is love. My love for you is endless... Ive losted you once.. and Im not gonna let that happened.. you understand.. dont you"

Jade looked down at her hands. Wondering what to say next. LJ grabbed her face into his hands, to make eye contact with her.

"Jade.. you mean the world to me.. All I want is for you to be happy... thats my job.. to make you happy.. to make life worth living.. and Jade.. to me.. you made my life worth living"

"LJ.. Im so... sor-"

LJ cut her off by a kiss. Jade immediately kissed back. LJ deepened the kiss.

"Babe... your all I want and all I need" LJ said

Jade smiled at him. She got up and LJ pulled her back down.

"Babe.... stop" Jade said

"Im not done with you"

"but Cody is outside"

"one quick question"

"whats that"

"will you go to the PBR finals with me this weekend"

"Now... how can I say no..."

"its a yes" he questioned

"yes"

LJ let go and Jade walked outside. He walked to the window and saw Cody. Cody waved at him. Jade came runnin back inside.

"babe.. what if I moved here with you" LJ asked

"uh.. what are you gonna do bout your place"

"I can have Cody stay there.. keep an eye on the place"

"really"

"yeah.. im sure hes up for it"

"its up to you hun.. whatever makes you happy" Jade said with a smile

" and being with you all the time makes me happy"

LJ kissed her.
