Three Months Later

It has been three months since LJ and Jade has talked. LJ wasnt do to well himself. He went back to his normal ways. Drinkin, chasin girls and living it up. He tried everything to get Jade out of his mind but nothing helped. He tried sleeping with other girls, but no. He couldnt go any further than a peck on the lips.

LJ was home one day and he saw a dodge pull up. He wasnt to sure who it was. He walked to his front door and it was Cody.

"Hey bud" Cody said

"Hey"

LJ left the door open. Cody walked in and closed it behind him.

"Place never changed" Cody said

"Not really... whats happening boss"

"Not much... and you"

"sittin on the couch with whiskey in my hand"

"Oh..."

"How is she"

"Well.. we made the finals...if thats what you were hinting at"

"Cool.. she with anyone"

"No... she refused everyone"

"oh.. where is she"

"Texas.. she has place of her own there now"

"How long ago did she move"

"uh.. about two months ago now.. packed her things, bought a ranch... and now she lives there"

"good for her"

"what really happened"

"Caught her with Kollin.."

"And you didnt care for her to explain"

"No"

"Dude.. she gave you a chance to explain the last time.. now dont you think she deserves that chance also"

"But that was different"

"Yeah... it was.. you basically slept with girls.. she got kissed... the kiss she tried to refuse. But I guess you've gotten over the relationship.. so im gonna go.. see ya sometime again bud"

LJ watched Cody leave. He sat back on the couch thinkin. Cody was right. LJ didnt really let Jade explain. He sat there, many thoughts running through is mind. He picked up his phone and looked at their pictures. He smiled at the ones she took. He missed her.

After the talk with Cody, it made him feel guilty. Deep down he wanted to call her but couldnt find the words. He dialed her number but it was disconnected. He was shocked. He logged on his facebook account and she deactivated her account. Now he doesnt know what to do. He cant get a hold of her. He called Cody, but he didnt pick up. LJ was runnin out of ideas. He had to find Jade some how.

How can he let this let happen? If he wouldve let her explain, could it be a difference? More questions came to mind. All these questions are making him need another glass of whiskey.

Ten minutes later, LJ called Cody again.

"Hello"

"Hey where does Jade live"

"Decatur Texas... why"

"I have to see her"

"oh.. well now you know where shes at"

"Do you happen to have her number"

"I thought you have it"

"I do.. but its a old number.."

"oh.. she got a new number... she never told me"

"well... seems so.. but thanks for the somewhat info"

"no problem bud"

Cody hung up. Then LJ finally snapped, thats where his buddy Tuf lives. LJ called him.

"Hello"

"Hey Champ"

"sup LJ"

"Not much and yourself"

"Just roping at a new arena... breakin in cattle"

"Oh yeah... where at"

"at a ranch called B Rockin"

"oh i see"

"why"

"a friend of mine is lookin for a over night stay.. for his horses.. i was gonna ask for the address or phone number so I can tell me buddy"

"Oh sure.. the number is 317-555-8181"

"thanks bud"

"no problem"

LJ hung up on Tuf. Maybe this is Jade's place? Could this be her number? LJ called but no answer. He kept dialing and dialing still no answer. He texted Tuf for the address.

'whats the address... im tryin to call but no answer'

'901 Old Mill Rd'

'thanks bud'

'anytime'

Now that LJ has some info on her, is he willing to go find her? He doesnt know what to do at this point. Go to her now, or think of something. One point he wants to leavd right now, and the next hes second guessing. Could she even stand seeing him? What can he do? If only someone else can give him that answer. 

He started packing. He held a picture of him and her. He sat on his bed, memories flooding back. The memory that kepy repeating was the memory in Sherdian. How he walked in on her and the look in her eye at the airport. The fear in her eyes, begging to listen. When this memory came to mind, he starts drinkin. He needs to see her. At least know how shes doing.

The next day LJ was driving to Texas. On the way, he tried to clear his mind. He tried to come up with something but nothing. He drove frustrated. This time seems different. It was his mistake the first time. And now he dosnt know whose mistake was it this time, Jade's or LJ's.

Hours later, he finallh pulled into Decatur. He drove around this small town. He found the place, Tuf was at. There was an arena, barn, horses and cattle grazing, and a big house. LJ's jaw dropped. He noticed her truck and trailer. He pulled in and now his heart is racing. He parked next to her truck. This place was much bigger than his. Insteaf of thinkin of what to say, all he thought bout was "how can she afford a place like this". He didnt realizr he came face to face with the front door.

He knocked on the door. Then he stuffed his hands in his pockets. She answered the door. He was speechless.
