Trouble Night

Jade sat throughout the rodeo, still wondering. She finally snapped out of it when she heard Tyler and Kollin's name. She watched them rope. Kollin is not roping like he use to. Tyler gave him the best handle he can give and Kollin completely missed the whole thing. Well not the whole thing, more like he rushed it. He didnt let his rope sit, he quickly pulled it out before the steer's hind end ever got a chance to hop in his loop.

Jade looked at him, like what the hell just happened. Thats not the same Kollin that she once knew. He looked pissed but at the same time confused. Like he couldnt tell right from wrong. Jade felt bad for him. She watched him walk out of the arena.

Jade sunk back in her seat. Is she the reason why he cant rope? So many questions floating around in Jade's head again. She loved Kollin, but was it enough for him? Now she loves LJ again. Two guys on her mind and not sure which to choose. She thought,

she was over all of this nonsense.

She looked down at the bucking chutes and she saw LJ getting ready. Before he crawled over the chutes, he smiled at Jade. Jade tried to smile big but only gave a weak one. LJ knew something was bothering her. She immediately left after LJ rode. She ran into the restroom, splashing water on her face. She watched the rest of the rodeo on the tv by the enterance. She smiled cause LJ won the round. She turned around and bumped into someone.

"Sorry" Jade appologized

"Its fine" a familiar voice spoke

She looked up and couldnt believe who she saw.

' what the hell? Is it ex's night'  Jade thought.

"Jake?" She questioned

"Sup Jade"

"What are you doing here"

"I rode tonight.. didnt you see me"

"Sorry I didnt.. well anyways its good seeing you.. bye"

Jade tried to rush off but Jake grabbed her hand.

"Hey.. hey.. whats the rush"

"Jake.. please let me go"

"why?"

"Because I said so.."

"It aint that easy sweetheart"

"And I aint easy like em whores you were messing around with... now let me go"

Jake kept a tight grip on her hand. She tried to show no pain. The way he put pressured on it, Jade felt her hand tingle. She started to panic when she felt someone break em apart. She turned and LJ stood between them.

"This aint over Jade" Jake said

Jade showed nothing but fear. It has been so long since she has last seen him. She rushed out of the colliseum for air. Jade sat on the bench outside. She had her knees against her chest and trying to take everything in. From watching Kollin rope to seeing Jake for the first time. She flinched when she felt a hand on her back.

"Hey.. your ok.. its just me" LJ said

Jade looked up at him and smiled. He pulled her into his arms. He wrapped his arms around her and rested his chin on top of her head. He held her until she was ready to pull away.

"Jade.. you ok babe" he asked

"Ummm.. not really"

"Why is that"

"Uh.. can we talk back at the room"

"yeah"

LJ helped Jade up. He held her hand amd walked back. Jade loved holding his hand. His somewhat soft and warm hands that helps her relax. She leaned against his shoulder as they walk back to the car.

It was silent ride back to the hotel. Jade felt sick to her stomach. But she knew she had to talk bout it otherwise, it'll keep building up. As much as she loves LJ, she's having second thoughts. She keeps wondering if he's ever gonna go back to his old ways. The partying, chasing girls, and not pay attention to Jade. Thats what shes scared of the most.

Then there was Kollin. Kollin who once loved her. But he seem like a keeper at first. Was Cody tellin the truth about Kollin? The way she seen him rope, wasnt him at all. From her point of view he was hurting. Did he really ment what he said in Red Bluff? Same questions kept repeatin in her mind.

Jade and LJ  made it to the room. He put his bags down. They both sat on the bed. Jade sat against the headboard and LJ sat at the end. Now she doesnt know what to say or better yet where to start off from.

"what is it Jade" LJ asked

"LJ... Why did you come back all of a suddden"

"Jade... Ive missed you.. and it took one stupid, pathetic, and a asshole move just to make me realize.. And when Cody told me you were with Kollin, it tore me apart. That I just lost my last chance to make things right with you.. and when I saw you come in that night, I knew I had to fight for you. I wanted to prove to you that I am willing to give a chance. I am nothing but a normal guy without you. When Im with you, Im this guy who is loved by an amazing and beautiful girl that I gave my heart to long ago. I never got it back. When you left, it felt like half of me left. Now that your here, Im back to one whole person"

Jade looked at him. Somewhat relieved and confused. Maybe he didnt ment to do those things. LJ's words repeated in her mind. 'Now that was a good answer' Jade thought. She sat there with her head down. It mightve been a difference if he confessed it four years ago.

"LJ... When I look at you.. I still see the same LJ I knew four years ago. Within those four years, I never.. I never forgot about this relationship. Maybe this is what we needed. A break from each other. We both realize that we cant live without one another. Like you said I gave my heart and never got it back. Im having the same feeling. When I walked out that door, part of me was missing but I was also heart broken. I just cant see my future without you."

LJ looked at her. He pulled her in for a hug and a passionate kiss. He held her like he cant let go. Seeing his better half in his arms, was a moment to take in. He stared into those brown eyes and smiled. He loved her and cant bear to be without her.

"I love you so much Jade... so much.. there are no words to describe" LJ said

"I love you too LJ.."

Those words made LJ'a heart skip a beat. He missed her voice. The voice that he loves when she says those words. Jade kissed him again. They both slept in each others arms.

Jake is back and Jade sees Kollin rope.
