Red Bluff

Clovis rodeo worked out for Jade and Cody again. Now they are heading to Red Bluff California. Jade is already in love with life. The horses are working great. But she just wish, that Kollin was with her. She misses him like crazy.

"You gonna take over from here" Cody asked

"Yeah" Jade said.

Jade took over and made it to Red Bluff safely. They weren't up till tomorrow night. The two checked in and got stalls. Then they fed and watched the evening performance. They only stayed around for the team roping. Then she got a call from Kollin.

'Hello'

'Hey babe'

'Hey.. where you guys at'

'Uh.. were are almost to Vegas. and you'

'We barely pulled into Red Bluff'

'Oh I see.. When are you guys up'

'We are roping tomorrow night'

'Cool.. I miss you Jade'

'I miss you too Kolly'

'Haha.. any more exciting news'

'Umm.. I'm sitting tenth in the world.. does that count'

'Sweet.. Vegas at the end of the year.. huh'

'You bet babe... oh I better get going.. need to feed the horses.. I love and miss you babe.. safe travels'

'Ok.. Love and miss you too... thanks'

'See ya later'

'bye'

Kollin hung up. Jade put her phone back in her pocket. She watched the last team rope and then headed off back to the stables. Cody went back to the trailer.

Jade made it to the stalls to check on the horses. They were still eating. She walked back to the trailer. Until she heard someone call her name.

"Jade!" a voice shouted

She turned around and saw a guy walking towards her. She waited until the guy got closer.

"Shane!" She said with excitement

"Hey.. what are you doing here" He asked

"Uh.. im up tomorrow night.. and you"

"Really... Im up in slack tomorrow"

"Yeah..oh i see.. when did you get here"

"Just now... you?"

"About an hour ago"

"Oh.. hey you wanna get something to eat"

"Sure.. let me go tell my brother"

"Ok."

Jade walked to the trailer. She told Cody she was gonna go get something to eat. He said ok and asked to bring something back.

She walked out of the trailer and found Shane parked in front of her trailer. She hopped in and off they went to get something to eat.

"What do you feel like eating" Shane asked

"You can choose.. I never been out here before" Jade said

"Ok.. well theres a Italian restaraunt downtown.. you wanna try it"

"Yeah"

Shane drove downtown to his favorite Italian place in Red Bluff. Shane quickly jumped out and opened the door for Jade. She smiled and thanked him.

The two walked in and waited to be seated. Then the host came and seated them by the table. She looked at the drinks and decided to go with the ice tea. Her and Shane ordered the same thing.

"How are you liking the rodeo road" Shane asked

"Its great.. Im enjoying it"

"Thats great.. Is Red Bluff your first rodeo"

"No.. Odessa was.."

"How did you do"

"Won it... then went to Clovis.. and took third"

"Well look at you.. a hot shot coming out of the blew"

Jade laughs. The rest of the night was all laughs and catching up. Jade loved hangin out with Shane. He made her laugh throughout the night. It was gettin late and Jade still had to get Cody something to eat.

"We better get going.." Jade said

"Yeah.. I have to rope tomorrow"

"Yeah.. is there a fastfood joint nearby"

"Yeah.. are you hungry again" Shane joked

"Hahaha.. No.. its for my brother"

"Hahaha.. Ok"

Shane paid the bill. They walked out and got in the truck. Shane drove where all the fast food joints were at. Jade picked BurgerKing. Shane ordered and he also paid for it.

"Here" Jade tried to pay Shane back

"No..Its ok" Shane insisted

"You sure"

"Yes Jade..."

"Ok"

They made it back to the fairgrounds. Shane dropped Jade off. She walked in on Cody. She couldnt believe who he was sitting with.

"Hey Jade" LJ said

Jade stopped in her tracks. She quickly put the food on the nearest table and rushed out. She took a walk to the stables again.
