Mixed Emotions part 2

Jade made her way to the convention center and still mad at LJ. She tried to not let it get to her. Will can see it.

"Im takin thats the guy who proposed" Will said tryin to break the silence.

Jade nodded. She didnt wanna talk about it this time. Then came back to reality, that the fans will still be askin about their love life. Jade was still thinkin what to say if they do ask.

They arrived at the convention center. Jade quickly grabbed her things and got out. Then her phone rang. She motioned Will to go ahead and go in without her.

"Hello"

"Hey Jade"

"Cody. Hey."

"Where you at"

"Im gettin ready to sign at the convention. What bout you"

"Same. Im signing at classic ropes"

"Im signing at Cactus. See ya after"

"Yeah. Talk to you later"

"Yep"

Jade walked into the convention center and made her way to the cactus booth. She set her stuff down and they gave her, her signing pad. Before the signing started, she took a quick pic of her signing and posted it on her social media accounts. Then all the fans started rolling. Jade looked to her right, to see who is signing with her. It was the one and only, Clay O'Brien Cooper.

Jade's jaw dropped. Clay took a glimpse at her. He smiled at her.

"Im Clay. And you"

"Ja...Ja.. Jade"

"Oh. Your the girl that everyone has been talkin bout"

"Really? Like who"

"Mainly fans."

"Oh. Well its pretty exciting that Im signing next to my hero."

"Thanks"

"No problem Champ"

Clay and Jade started signing. Fans took pictures but surprisingly not many asked questions like the others. It was sign and then take a quick pic.

"Hows Vegas treatin you" Clay asked

"Pretty good and yourself"

"Same. Who you ropin with"

"Cody Smith. What bout you"

"Chad."

"Oh I see"

Clay and Jade talked throughout their signing. Clay was tellin Jade bout what to expect throughout the whole finals. The way he described it, it made Jade very nervous. She seen the rodeo herself and she knows how loud the place gets.

Jade was finally done for the day. She texted Cody to see if he was done. And he said yeah. Jade waited for him by the door.

Ten minutes later he finally showed up. Jade had a smile when she saw him. Cody had a huge smile plastered on his face.

"What the hell are you so dam happy about" Jade asked

"I love this life. Met some awesome barrel racers. I have a date tonight" Cody said proudly

"I can see that. Could this girl be Brittany Pozzi" Jade asked

"Yes! My lady came back to me"

Jade rolled her eyes and chuckled. She dragged Cody out the door. The two took a cab back to the room for a quick dinner and change clothes. While on the ride home, Jade thought about LJ. Wondering what was his deal back at the restaraunt.
