Heavy Shoulder

Jade woke up the next day. She actually woke up relieved. She turned her head and saw LJ sleeping. She slowly got out of bed and made her way to the bathroom. She did her normally routine and she heard her phone buzz. She grabbed it off the night stand.

'I still love you Jade'

It was from Kollin. Jade didnt know what say. Should she reply or let it be? She was bout to reply when she got another text message from him.

'Is there still a chance between us'

Jade is losing her mind. She was pacing around in the room. Why is this happening? He was the one to walk away. Shes with LJ now. Many thoughts are runnin. Before she could even think straight, more thoughts came to mind. Maybe he saw her with Jake or with LJ? Maybe he misunderstood? Or he finally realize that he had let her slip away. Jade was in thought when she felt a familiar pair of lips on hers. She found Kollin standing in front of her.

*End of dream*

Jade jumped up in sweat. LJ had his arm wrapped around her waist. She let out a long sigh. She was breathing heavy, and she slowly removed his arm from her waist. Jade made her way to the bathroom and splashed water on her face. She wiped her face and found LJ standing behind her.

"You ok Jade" he asked

"umm.. yeah.. just a bad dream" Jade said

"Oh.. you wanna talk about it"

"Not right now.. if its ok"

"yeah thats fine.. and Im always here for you"

"Thanks."

She sat on the sink and LJ walked up her. Jade had her head down, feeling the tears. LJ put his hands on both side of her face and lifted her head. He saw the fear, and the ache. He tried to hold back but he blurred it out.

"Lets talk"

"Babe.. please.. I dont wa..."

"Yes babe.. we are gonna talk about it.. I know you didnt want to.. but the way you look right now.. it shows you have something on your shoulder."

She nodded her head. He picked her up bridal style and carried her to the bed. He slowly sat her down and sat next to her. LJ still had his arm wrapped around her. Jade tried to find her air back. She finally calmed down and looked at her hands.

"Its Kollin.."

"What bout him"

"I got up to use the bathroom.. and I heard my phone buzzed.. and I.."

Jade's phone went off. She looked at it. Speaking of the devil. And what does it say.

'I still love you'

Jade showed LJ the message. By the look on his face, she knew he was mad. He was about to snatch her phone when she put it back on the night stand.

"Is this what your dream was about" LJ asked

"Yeah" she said in a soft tone.

LJ looked away. The moment he did that Jade felt guilty. She turned his head to make him face her. She grabbed his hand and held it into hers.

"LJ.. Im not going anywhere.. I would never leave you for another guy. Thats not me. When Im in the relationship, I am in the relationship. LJ I love you... Nobody cant take that away... And I.. I just cant lose you.."

"Babe.. its not that... I know you wont leave me.. but are you over him?"

"We only dated for two months.. and you my handsome.. ive known you forever.. and If we were to split again, I'd be in a much bigger mess than I am in now"
