Celebration Time

Jade walked in the conference room. Seeing everyone on both side of her parents. She loved it. Jade tried to find the words but nothing came to mind.

"Congrats you guys" Jen said

"Thanks mom.. how.. how did you.."

"Well your fiance called me and we planned it"

"Mom this is amazing..."

"Thank you... now lets enjoy this night"

Jade went to the table in the front. She sat next to LJ. There was a DJ, people dancing, eating, kids running around. But one familiar figure caught her eye. She got up from her seat and walked towards the familiar person.

"Kollin" Jade questioned

"Jade.. nice party"

"How did you know.."

"LJ invited me."

"Oh.. well I should thank him"

"You should.. Oh I like to introduce someone to you"

Kollin signalled someone over. Jade has no idea who idea this person is. And it appears to be a blonde lady.

"Jade this is Angie.. Angie this is Jade"

"Nice to meet you Jade.. congrats by the way"

"You too Angie.. thank you"

"Wanna dance Kollin" Angie asked

"Sure.. excuse us Jade" Kollin said

Jade stepped to the side. She watched them walk to the dance floor. She smiled at them. Jade was happy for Kollin. He found someone for himself. Jade felt hands around her waist.

"Care to dance" LJ asked

"Yes dear" Jade said

LJ grabbed Jade's hand and led her to the dance floor. He held her close as they swayed to the music. Jade felt her phone vibrate. She let go of LJ and pulled her phone out. She looked at it and it was a unknown number. She ignored it and put it back in her pocket.

"Everything ok babe" LJ spoke

"Yeah.. it was an unknown number"

Kollin kept eye contact with Jade. Every now and then he would smile at her. Jade would blush. She got tired of his teasin expressions and stuck her face in the crook of LJ's neck.

Jade's dad stopped the music and started talking. LJ and Jade looked up at him.

"Alrighty folks.. as we all know why were here"

Everyone nodded

"Yeah.. so uh.. LJ here called me a head of time.. to give him my blessing.. But before I did, I asked why he loves my daughter so much. He gave me a story. Honestly, no one never talked about my daughter like he did. She changed his whole world around. I could go on but tonight its not about me. Its about these two kids. Welcome to the family LJ. Heres to Jade and LJ" Austin said as he lifted the wine glass

Jade walked up to her dad and hugged him.

"Thank you daddy" Jade said

"My baby is growing up.. I love you Jade"

"Love you too dad"

Austin let go of Jade. He looked at her and wiped a tear that fell. She hugged him again.

"I think you better release.. your fiance is waitin for a dance"

"he can wait.. the night is still young"
