Appreciate

Jade made it back home. She took this time to turn on her phone. Once it was on, her phone beeped non stop. Showing missed calls and texts messages; all from LJ. She went out to go feed the horses. She loaded a bale in the back of her truck. Then she drove down to the pasture. When she got there,  Jade started spreading the bale of hay out. Then sat on the tailgate. Wondering what to do. Call him? Text him? Give it time? Facetime him?

Viper came walkin up to her. Everytime she looks at him, Kollin would come to mind. He smelt the scent of grain on her hand. He licked her hand. Jade rubbed his forehead,  makin him close his eyes.

"You know. Your the only one who listens to me. You never let me down Vipe. Im glad to have you in my life. I love you Vipe" Jade said and hugged him.

Then all the horses came up to the truck. Even Stark, Chancy, and Scoop.  After the finals Jade brought em back to Texas with her. All the horses gathered around her truck. She told em a story ( What happened in NY). They stood and listen to every word.

Jade finished tellin the story. All off em shook their heads. Jade let out a chuckle.

"What do y'all think? Should I work things out with him?" Jade asked

The horses nodded their head;as in a yes. Jade laughs bout them.

"They are right" a voice came up

Jade turned around and her smile dropped.  She turned towards Viper again. Waitin on whats bout to happen. She felt the truck move a bit. Some weight on her right side.

"Look Jade I'm sorry. "

"LJ we both over reacted.  To me thats our problem. We over react on stupid things that dont matter. What matters is that I do love you. "

"I love you too. I would do anything for you. What bugs me is that I didnt appreciate the things you do for me. I also hate hiding secrets from you. But sometimes I dont feel like talkin bout it. The more I keep hidin the more its gonna be hard for me to talk bout. I figured out what you wanted from me. Appreciate all the things you have in life. Whether its a major or not. Im thankful to have an amazing beautiful fiancé in my life. Im thankful for all the things you have done for me. I know I dont say it much. Im still in this if you are"

"Of course I am. I dont like to half ass it"  Jade said with a chuckle

LJ pulled her into him. He held her tight, keeping her warm. Jade snuggled into his chest. LJ kissed her cheek.

"You ok?" He asked

"Fine" Jade replied

"Lets go back to the house"

"The house or the barn"

"Which do you prefer mrs. Jenkins"

"As long as Im with you"

LJ picked her up and spun her around. Making her laugh and scream. They fell into the soft blanket of snow. They layed on the ground laughing away. Jade grabbed a handful of snow and put it down LJ's shirt. LJ jumped to his feet and tried to shake the snow out of his shirt. Jade started laughing historically.

"Your in for it now" LJ said

Jade quickly got up and ran behind the horses. Making LJ run after her. Jade running between Viper and Stark. Which ever way Jade would move, Stark would follow; making it difficult for LJ to catch her. Jade kept up with Stark. LJ was still trying to catch his breath. Jade jumped on Stark bareback and took off back to the barn.

"Cheater" LJ shouted

"Last home gets the couch" Jade shouted back

*End Of Dream*

Jade jumped up from her bed. Still no sign of LJ. She looked at her phone and the time read 3:35 am. Jade layed back down and let out a breath. Soon later, she felt warm tears run down her cheek. She rolled on her side, lookin out the window. Wondering where he could be? Wondering what he is doing?

She got up from her bed. Lookin up at the moon that was partially covered by dark clouds. Thoughts roaming around in her mind. She wish she can call or text him but she cant. She's afraid whats gonna happen if she did. Maybe he wont answer? Maybe some girl will pick up? Maybe he's to angry to talk to her? Maybe he dont want to talk to her?

Jade sat on her window seal. Her knees snuggled into her chest and layed her head on her knees. Tears started streaming, then the bedroom door open. She was afraid to look. It may or it may not be him. The voice spoke and she slowly turned her head. Seeing him with his hands in his pockets.  Jade didnt think twice, she jumped to her feet and ran towards him. She jumped into his arms.

"Im so sorry babe" Jade said in a sad tone

"Dont worry bout it sweetheart. Its over with. And I will not let the best thing in my life walk out on me. I've lost you once and I aint making the same mistake again. I love you so much. The minute you got in that cab, my heart started to break. Jade you are my rock. My heart aches when your not with me. I would do anything to make you happy."

"You have done everything you can and I failed you. Im sorry. Im afraid your gonna leave again. And I wa-"

"What in gods name are you thinkin? Jade I would never leave you. I let you slip through my fingers. If I were to leave you, I wouldnt have asked you to marry me. Or asked to move in with you. Or drive you to rodeos when I can. Baby I love you and I WILL NEVER stop loving you. Everything Im doing is for you"

LJ hugged Jade as tight as he can. The it gave him, left him at ease. With her back in his arms was all he wanted. He picked her up and layed her back on the bed. He took his shirt and jeans off, and crawled into bed with her. He wrapped her up and held her close. She felt warmth and safeness. Later on that night, both of em fell asleep.

Seems like LJ was givin her what she wanted. But she was caught up in her own world to evem realize it.
