"Let's go! Let's go! Leeettt'sss goooo!" I say, jumping on the bed like a child, with him laying across it, relaxed with his hands behind his head.
"What the hell is wrong with you?"
"What do you mean?" I say, jumping again but this time, landing on my knees and grabbing his hand. He forced me to get all nice and dressed up, because we're going to a fancy dinner at the top of the CN tower, where the restaurant literally spins as you eat, so you can get a full view of the whole city.
"You're acting like a seven year old."
"I'm excited! I'm in Canada! Woohoo!"
"You're this excited because you're in Canada?" He asks, laughing. "I thought you'd be more excited about the European countries."
"Very true." I say, getting back up on my feet. "But it finally came! We're on our trip together! We've already been here a day and I'm still pumped!" He just laughs at me before standing up on the bed. He grabs my hands and holds me still. "What are you doing?"
"We're leaving." He says. I smile, as he leans forward to kiss me on the forehead. I can't help but smile softly as his touch relaxes me.
"Okay." I say, more calm. He jumps off the bed and as I'm about to step down, he grabs my waist and lifts me off my feet. I laugh as he puts me down and looks me in the eyes. "What?" I ask.
"I'm so fucking happy to be here with you." He says, and I can't help but blush.
"Me too." I say, wrapping him up in a huge hug. He returns it, holding me tightly, and I never want to let go.
"Okay, let's go." He says, letting go. I slip on my black heels. We head outside to where the elevator is and ride it down to the lobby. When we walk out we see Ashley and Emily at the check in desk.
"Oh my God." I say, "they're in the same fucking hotel?"
"I guess so." Suddenly they turn around.
"Kevin?" I hear Emily's voice. I roll my eyes as I grab his hand and lace our fingers together. "What are you doing here?"
"Just, on a trip with my girlfriend." He says, as I feel my cheeks start to turn pink. He pulls me closer to him as Ashley stares down at me.
"What are you guys doing here?" I ask, with the biggest smile I can muster.
"Just... Hanging out." Is all they can manage to think of.
"In Toronto?" Kevin asks. "Why?"
"We've just both always wanted to come here." Ashley says.
"Yeah, did you know that the CN tower is the tallest in the world?" Emily says, trying to sound smart.
"Actually, it's the second tallest. Or maybe the third, I can't remember, but good try." I say, laughing. "Now if you'll excuse us, we're going to get dinner." I say, smiling. I take Kevin's hand and drag him behind me.
"Okay, well, it was really nice to see you again Kevin." Ashley says, putting her hand on his shoulder.
"Yep." He says, not acknowledging her at all and pushing her hand off. "Bye." He says, as we walk away together, still hand in hand.
Kevin called me his girlfriend.
Does that mean we're technically dating now? Or was he just saying that because Ashley and Emily were there?"What's on your mind?" He asks, noticing that I'm obviously lost in thought.
"What do you mean?" I say, as we walk into the building where the CN tower is. I have to say, it's a lot less busy than I originally anticipated, but it's kind of nice.
