"I can't believe we're doing this," Hayley sighs as Betty sticks a crowbar into Grundy's car.
"I can't either," Veronica sighs and she bangs her head on the door, waiting for Betty to open the door. She looks up after a second, "How did you even learn how to do that?"
"My dad and I use to fix cars together," Betty explains, "Thank god she drives an old..."
Betty stops when the car door pops open. She smirks slightly, looking up at Hayley and Veronica's surprised faces. The three girls don't waste time getting into the car. Veronica jumps into the back seat while Hayley rushes towards the passenger side and Betty slides in the driver's. The girls quickly shut each of their respective doors carefully, making sure to minimize the noise.
"Okay, before going any further, if I'm committing a felony, I need to at least ask the question," Veronica puts a hand on Hayley's shoulder, "Are you doing this because you still have feelings for Archie, or..."
"I don't even want to do this!" Hayley exclaims, and Betty shoots her a look of disbelief.
"Hayley if you didn't want to do this, you wouldn't be here."
Hayley sighs, "Of course I still have feelings for him. I've finally realized I've loved him for over a year, but like it or not, this is bigger than Archie. This is about a grown woman terrorizing a minor."
Betty sighs and pulls down the car mirror, "We're looking for anything that proves Grundy isn't as clean as she says she is."
The girls look around for a bit, looking through cracks in the seats to compartments under he carpet, before Veronica speaks up from the backseat.
"Well, I just found this under the seat," she says as she passes a box forward and Betty grabs it.
Betty looks at it for a second before holding her hand out, "Bobby pin."
Veronica rushes to pull one out of her hair and puts it in her hand, "Okay Ms. Gyver."
Betty takes it and puts it in the key hole before turning it. The box pops open and once again, the blonde looks at her friends with a smirk on her face.
"I learned that from the Nancy Drew detective handbook," She says as Hayley cracks a small smile.
"Okay go," she motions.
Betty smiles and starts rummaging through the box, careful not to break anything. A second later, she pulls out a license. Hayley moves in close to read it.
