A Touch of Evil// part 3

The next morning, Hayley and Issac walk into the school together.
"I'm beginning to think you're only friends with me because I can drive," Issac smirks at Hayley as she rolls her eyes.
"And I'm beginning to think that you're only friends with me because you like my mom's coffee," she comments as she waves the two cups of coffee she held in her hand around.
Isaac's eyes follow the cups, "You would be correct."
Hayley scoffs and continues to walk in the direction of her locker with Issac beside her. They reach her locker and Hayley turns to Issac, handing him the two cups. He puts down the two textbooks he held on the ground and takes the coffee from Hayley. The said girl turns to her locker and puts in her combination before bending down and grabbing the textbooks Issac put on the ground. She shoves them into her locker and grabs a binder.
"Alright," Issac says as she finishes using her locker, "See you around Cohen."
He turns away and begins to walk away in hurry. Hayley's eyes narrow as she realizes what he's trying to do.
"Bring me back my coffee Issac." She exclaims and he picks up his pace. He looks back at her and smirks right before he turns the corner and disappears. Just then, Veronica and Betty arrive. Betty walks over to her locker that was across from Hayley's and Veronica walks over to hers which was right beside Hayley's.
My mother is crazy," Betty sighs , "I'm afraid I'll never see my sister again."
"We could go to her?" Hayley suggests as she leans up against her locker, "We just have to find out where she is."
"I love the idea Hayley, but it seems impossible. Besides, she's still sick."
Hayley nods understandingly, trying to stop herself from saying, "I doubt that."
Nevertheless, the three friends don't say anything else and proceed to walk to the student lounge together. Hayley opens the door and is greeted immediately by loud barking, and known as Reggie talking.
The three girls split up as Veronica sits next to Chuck, Betty next to Kevin and Hayley next to a coffee machine.
"And Sheriff Keller's grilling me, Mantle the Magnificent," Reggie spins the football in his hand. "Cause I'd want Blossom dead. When he was, like, the only good quarterback we had," he scoffs, "And speaking of offensive tight-ends, I should've sent the cops to you, Moose," he throws the ball to another boy, "Because here's another unsolved mystery. What exactly were you and Kevin doing at the river, huh?" He looks over at Kevin who seems to roll his eyes.
