"Hello, you must be Elise Davis. I'm Pencilneck, but you may call me Mrs. P," said the woman with an extremely long neck. Now I get the name. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Mrs. P,""You do know why I'm here, correct?" she questioned. I nodded my head. "It's only been a few hours since Slenderman contacted me. How are you feeling?"
"I-I don't know. I can't barely control it. I need to stay put," I replied. She placed her hand on my shoulder. "And that's why I'm here to help, darling. Do you have your weapon?"
I shook my head. "No. Not yet."
She inhaled before hissing. "This will be slightly complicated. Your power was supposed to be activated at least after you've chosen your weapon. But it's quite alright. I will help you,"
I gulped. "Yes, ma'm,"
After several long and eternal hours, Mrs. P finally taught me how to control my power. And now....it was my time to choose my weapon. To go with...Ben. We were outside the mansion. Ben was there, along with Slenderman and Mrs. P. There were several tables, which contained many different weapons. "Okay," Ben started, "choose one weapon. One that you like. And prove you're good at it." I glanced at him and gave him a nod. I glanced back at the table. So many weapons....
I just want something simple.
Maybe a bow and arrow?
I picked up the bow and arrow and glanced back at Ben. Ben took out his sword from his back. I placed the arrow right next to the bow and aimed at Ben. When I shot the arrow, Ben glitched and was no longer there. My eyes widened. The arrow hit the ground instantly."I really don't recommend the bow and arrow," I heard Ben opine from behind me. I backed away, facing Ben. "W-wha--?"
"Your enemy could also teleport. Same thing I said to Ninja. Her reaction was priceless," he chuckled. He's referring to Skyleigh. I let out a sigh and walked towards the table. I placed the bow and arrow and picked a sword that was laying there. It didn't seem like any sword. It was so thin and the color was silver.
"Are you kidding? You couldn't pick anything epic? Sky's weapon was a really neat scythe. It was also a gun and it was just really fucking awesome. I designed it," smirked Ben. I ran forth him, trying to stab his arm. But he blocked it with his other sword. "Hey, so, I was thinking, you wanna hang out after this and play video games or watch TV? Do you like video games? I have classics, like Mario Kart. Oh, we can make a deal,"
"Ugh," I grunted as I pulled my sword away. I tried stabbing his stomach, but once again, blocked by his sword. "So, what do you say?" he asked. "Do you not take this seriously?" I asked back.
"Not a bit," he answered.
I got to make a cut in his arm slightly. I went to stab his neck but he freaking blocked it. "Remember your posture. Shoulders back. And most importantly, eyes on the subject," he remarked. I gritted my teeth.
"You know, you're starting to get good. A few more trainings and you'll actually get to beat me,"
I backed away and started panting. "Wanna hang out?" he asked me.
"No!" I yelled, griping the sword hard.
"Why not? I have popcorn and nachos," he insisted.
"Ben, get this into your head, no. You can't even take this training seriously, and you expect me to 'hang out' with you after? You're seriously a waste of time," I ranted before I grabbed my sword and left to my home.
When I arrived, nobody was home, as expected. I ran up to my room and placed my sword in my closet. I lay on my bed and started dialing Taylor's number on my phone. It rang a couple times.
"Hello? Taylor?" I asked.
"Elise, what's up?"
"Wanna come over and bring Riley?"
"Ah, dude, I can't sorry, I'm studying for that big math test. But maybe I can tomorrow,"
"O-okay. Bye," I said before hanging up. Next, I dialed Riley's number. Riley almost didn't pick up her phone. "Yello?"
"Hi, Riley, wanna come over?"
"Aw! I'm so sorry, Elise! My mom took me out to go buy my prom dress. But I can go after 4:00 pm. Oh, wait! Never mind! I have a cheerleading reunion at 5:00! Sorry, I have a full schedule today." stated Riley.
"It's quite alright. Goodbye," I hung up. But, then, a miracle happened. A text from Brandon.
Brandon: Hey, darling, are you free after 3:00?
I quickly replied.
Me: I don't have anything planned after that time. What do you need?
Brandon: Great. I'll pick you up by 3:30 pm.
Me: Oh. Okay?
At least I'm going to do something rather than doing nothing but dying internally. I picked up the book 'To kill a Mockingbird' and started reading.
When I checked the time, it was 3:26. I started to panic.
Shit.
What if I had to dress elegantly or something?
But wait, I'm already wearing a white, long-sleeved short dress with black flats. Isn't that elegant enough?
But I trained and I didn't shower. Oh, what if I smell like shit?
I went and fixed my hair a bit. I put some perfume on and ate a mint. I grabbed my wallet and put it in the pocket of my dress.
