THIRD P.O.V

Jeff felt a sharp pain on his left arm. He looked down to see Jane, satisfied, and a knife, sinking into his left arm. Now he knew the reason of the pain. He let out a groan and pushed her away. He fell to the floor, sticking the knife out slowly. He was scared it would've gotten one of his veins. Jeff's eyes widened, as blood spilled everywhere. He was getting beaten up. And the kick Jane threw to Jeff's abdomen, made it all worse. He coughed up blood, holding onto his stomach, hugging his self. "Finally....I will get my revenge,"

No. He wasn't going to let her get the victory. But he was also too weak. He heard a scream. And he knew that scream perfectly well. "You bitch!"

Skyleigh jumped right up to Jane and began throwing fists to the air, making Jane dodge all of them. Skyleigh took out her scythe and began shooting randomly, not having an exact aim. Jane suddenly felt a pain on her right shoulder. "No!"

Finally, she was done with her. Everyone's headache. It was over. Well, not exactly. That makes minus two enemies. Skyleigh turned to look at Jeff, who was unconcious on the floor. She looked to his left arm to see him losing a big amount of blood. She gasped and yelled for help, for she couldn't lift him up herself. Soon enough, the help came. EJ helped her lift Jeff up as they walked to a nearby rock. "Will you stay with him?"

"I can't," she replied, "I need to keep fighting."

EJ was taken aback by this. "Then, who's gonna take care of him?"

ELISE'S P.O.V

I'm scared. I admit it, I'm completly terrified. All I want to do is be with Ben. With everybody else. With Skyleigh, who just got her memory back. After this, I'll picture us sitting by the bench, or having a campfire, telling funny stories and eating marshmallows. I'll be rubbing my engagement ring, feeling Ben's pulse and he would feel mine's. Skyleigh will be at the other side, laughing along at Jeff's jokes. I never thought of getting married so soon. I'm only eighteen. Well, I am legal. But, it's still so soon. I have no one to go to, though.

My parents--

I can't.

I need to fight for them. For their legacy. Their memory.

I tried summoning my knight, but it's useless. I tried to teleport away, but it seems this cavern is "anti-power" or something. It doesn't let me use any of my powers. But, how can I explain what just blew up along with the minerals back there?

I guess I really am stuck here. Well, I'm not going to sit here and wait to get rescued, I need to do something. I will be useful for something.

"Again, why do I have to go to that mission? Why me? Can't it be Jeff or Jack? Or Ben?" I whined.

"No," Slender began, "because none of them have your gift."

I was taken aback by this.

"Gift? What do you mean?"

Slender stood silent for a moment. "Your mental capacity."

Oh?

"Fine," I agreed, but I still complained.

"Good! Now off you go," he demanded. "Wait, now? Wasn't it for tomorrow?"

"Of course not. This situation needs to be treated immediately!" He responded. Before I could've asked what the mission was about, he cut me off. "You'll find out eventually. It's at the Forbes State Forest in Pennsylvania. I know, it is pretty far. But that's why you need to go now. I have calculated everything. And you will arrive in four hours and thirty three minutes. The only one who knows what you have to do is Jeffrey. I can't believe I'm saying this but follow his instructions, will you? He knows what he's doing. I hope,"

I hesitantly nodded my head. "Good, now, since you're the most organized one, pack food and drinks, please? I know Benjamin, Jeffrey and Jackson won't."

"Wait, Jackson? As in, Jack?" I questioned. Slender bobbed his head in approval. "Fine," I went upstairs and packed a book bag and stuffed some chips I had in my room, a portable charger, and a book. I went downstairs and packed more food and frozen drinks. "Are you done, Freckles?" I heard Ben ask from behind me. I closed the book bag and replied with a Yes. "Then, let's go. Car's waiting at an abandoned parking lot," he said, leading me towards the front door. There were Jeff and Jack, both waiting for us. "Finally," spoke Jack.

It has been an hour and a half and I already wanna go home. "Why didn't Masky and Hoodie did this mission?" I asked. Jeff turned back to me from the passenger's seat. "Because they had two other missions to take care of,"

I whined and lay my head against the window. He turned back and looked to his front. I was in the backseat with Ben and Jack was driving the car this time. "You need a carseat?" questioned Jeff. "Huh—?"

"You're whining. Stop being such a baby and shut up,"

I gasped and looked over at Ben, glaring. He just shrugged. I didn't say anything. I just thought to myself that it wasn't worth it. "Uhm....so...Jeff? What is it that we're gonna do?" inquired Ben. Jeff let out a deep breath. "There's this 16 year old guy. Apparently he has found a book where he can summon all kinds of demons and stuff, including Slender. So he asked us to take that damn book away from that kid because he's going overboard."

"16 year old?" I gasped. Jeff nodded his head affirmatively. "We're stopping at a grocery store. Do what you gotta do, buy what you gotta buy. You have less than ten minutes. I'd give five if you wanna be home by tomorrow." Jack announced. Ben changed his appearance as we both got out of the car, making our way into the store.

....

"May I put on my playlist?" I asked as they all shrugged. I connected the auxiliary to my phone and played My Shot from Hamilton. God, I love this musical.

"What the hell is this shit?" spat Jeff.

"It's....Hamilton." I responded.

"It fucking sucks," Ben grumbled. "Yeah, dude. Change it," Jack spoke, supporting Jeff and Ben. I let out a gasp and placed my hand over my chest. "Well, that's your opinion. You're being disrespectful. And name a better band or singer."

"Lil Peep."

"Oh! Post Malone—"

"Drake."

I grunted and disconnected the auxiliary from my phone, crossing my arms and looking over at the window. "Finally, oh my god." Jeff put the radio on as Lucid Dreams was on. "You have to be kidding," I muttered under my breath. But I wasn't sure if they heard me. "Alright, we're here," announced Jack. So soon? Thank god.

We all got out of the car, but it took me a couple of seconds to realize we were in an abandoned parking lot in front of a forest. "This place was abandoned since 2009. Apparently the place wasn't getting as much crowds as in the 90's, so they decided to close it down." added Jack.

"That's sad." I commented.

"Alright. We're going in. We have to be careful not to make any noise. That guy's dangerous." said Jeff as we all nodded in agreement. I grabbed my bag and we all walked into the woods. I admit, I was scared as heck, but it wasn't so bad since Ben was with me.

2 hours probably circling the forest, and we still didn't find anything. I was about to say how stupid this was, and that we should've split and met in the parking lot, but I heard a noise, more specifically, a scream. My eyes snapped open. "Did you all hear that....?" I whispered. I looked back and they all nodded at me. I began to tremble as Jeff made his way to the right. We followed him as he quietly moved some bushes, and there he was. A teenager convulsing on the floor with his eyes completely white.
