"Hello?""Elise, are you free on Sunday?" asked Brandon through the phone.
"Sunday? Yeah, I mean, I can--"
I totally forgot about the training I had tomorrow, Sunday.
"Um, I mean, I'm sorry, I'm quite busy tomorrow. What were you planning to do?"
"I was planning on taking out on dinner. But maybe we could do that tonight if you'd like?" remarked Brandon. I smiled to myself, "Of course,"
"Great. I'll pick you up at 7:00."
"Alright. See ya. Love you,"
"Love you more. Bye,"
As I hung up, I started practicing with the piano and finished after nearly two hours.
....
It was finally nighttime. I had just finished getting ready when my mother called me downstairs. I was wearing a white, slightly short dress, black flats, and of course I'm carrying my sided bag. I got out of my room and made my way downstairs. "You called, mother?" I called.
"Yes, you're little friend is here,"
I went over to the living room, seeing Brandon sitting on a couch slightly away from my father. Oh, god. "Brandon, I'm here," I said.
Brandon turned around and rapidly stood up. "Wow," he spoke, "shall we go?"
I nodded my head at him. "Goodbye, Mom, Dad,"
"It was an honor to meet you, Mr. Davis," said Brandon before he walked forth me and grabbed my hand. "The honor is mine, young man," stated my father before we walked out of the house.
"What would you like to order?"
"Um, I would like only a Smoked Pork Jowl with pickles. With lemonade," I responded. The waiter scribbled down my order. "You don't want coke?" Brandon questioned me.
I replied, "No. I don't drink soda,"
"Oh," he chuckled, "right,"
"Your order, sir?" the waiter asked Brandon. Brandon looked down at the menu and explained, "I want a Vegan Charcuterie. Pepsi"
The waiter wrote down Brandon's order. "Is that all?"
"Yes,"
"Alright, the food will be done in a couple of minutes,"
"Seriously though, how did you become the School Prep? You know, I wanna be at least Vice president of the school one day," laughed Brandon, while taking a bite from his Vegan Charcuterie. I chuckled. "Well, actually, I was one of the students in my class with the best grades. So, obviously people had to vote. And, being honest with you, I never thought I'd become school president. It feels amazing to, you know, help the school, host school activities, but, without any doubt, it is extremely stressing."
"I can only imagine all the stress,"
"Yeah," I sighed, "when are you finishing that dish? We've been here for almost two hours and you're barely done." I joked.
"Being honest, without any offense, I hate vegan food," spoke Brandon. I laughed. "You know, it isn't exactly vegan food if its calle--"
"Yeah, Elise, well, I don't like it. I'm leaving the money here. Let's go and grabbed some ice cream on our way to the park,"
The park was silent and empty. There weren't even people at this time. And it was nearly 11:00 pm. Brandon got his vanilla ice cream as we sat down on a bench. No, I didn't get any ice cream. I just didn't want to.
Jeff's P.O.V
"What do you mean I can't go home?" I asked Slendy, grunting.
"Jeffrey, this is your home. And you cannot go to your new home now. It's important for Elise." Slendy stated.
I scoffed, while crossing my arms. "Elise, Elise, Elise, all you talk about is that fucking brat,"
"She is the new Guardian of the proxy. We need to train her very well. Even better than we trained Skyleigh,"
"Talking about Skyleigh," I started, "Why can't I just take her into my house or whatever?"
Slendy stood up from his chair, slamming his desk. "Absolutely not! Skyleigh still needs to be checked to see what made her lose her memory...."
I started talking shit under my breath. "Get out of my office. I have stuff I need to do,"
I let out a scoff as I turned around, leaving the office immediately. Then, I walked straight to the laboratory. I opened the door, seeing Sky, 'sleeping'. Luckily, no one was there so I could get in easily. A sigh escaped from my lips as I sat down on a chair right next to the bed. I grabbed the love of my life's hand. It was freezing cold. I pulled it to my face, caressing it.
"My love. When will you come back to me? Will you be able remember to remember everything, everyone, or, even me? I miss you so much." I whispered as a tear fell down my cheek. I kissed her hand. Suddenly, I heard the sound of the door opening. I looked up, still holding Sky's hand, to see Masky, with some kind of notebook. "Jeff? What're you doing here? You know you can't be here during the analysis,"
"Have you found out yet the cause to the loss of memory? Or at least how to get it back?" I questioned.
Masky shook his head no. "No, not yet. I'm still working on it," started Masky, "Look, I don't think there's a chance to get Mrs. Wood's memory back. I'm sorry."
"Oh," was all I said. "You need to leave the laboratory, Jeff," remarked Masky.
I stood up from the chair, walking out of the laboratory. I put my hand inside my hoody, feeling my sharp knife, and possibly getting a cut on my finger. I walked downstairs, seeing Gretchen talking with Ben.
"I know, it's really difficult to talk to her. I don't know what to do now," I heard Ben say to Gretchen. I joined them. "What're you guys talking about?"
They both glanced at me. "Some stuff," said Gretchen to me.
"About?" I kept asking.
"Me," spoke Ben.
"Ugh, you know what? I don't even care," I fumed, walking towards the door, opening and strolled to the woods.
