I woke the girl up. I felt kinda uncomfortable calling her "The girl" but I didn't know her name and I don't think she would've given it to me since she can barely speak at all. I should give her a list of names and let her choose while I investigate about her. I looked for the news for a missing girl, the internet, and even the newspapers, but nothing about her.

She seemed annoyed with me waking her up. I wrote some names on pieces of paper and gave it to her so she can choose one. She looked at them and touched one paper, it said Red. I am not creative when it comes to names.

"You like Red? Great. That's a nice name I guess,"

"Seriously, what's your main language? I'll try to Google translate it or something,"

She stared at me like I was stupid. I stared at her confused. I looked down and took a glimpse of her wrist. She had a strange symbol. I grabbed her arm and stared at it. It was black and had a circle with an X through it. I was completely confused about it. I tried touching it but she rapidly pulled her arm away and hissed. "Woah. That hurts? Hold up, let me try and touch it," I said calmly as I slowly grabbed her arm and touched the symbol. I felt a chill down my spine as I touched it.

Then, something completely supernatural happened. The symbol glowed. But it glowed into a green color. I was so shocked I couldn't remove my finger from her symbol. My mouth was wide open. But then it got to the point where it started to hurt my finger. I pulled it away rapidly and hissed. But her symbol stopped glowing.

What. The. Actual. FRICK?

"What are you?"

......

"Um, hey, are you at your house right now?" I asked Riley through the phone.

"Yes I am. Why?" she answered.

"Can you come to my house? As in, right now? And try to bring Taylor?"

"Sure. I'll be there in ten minutes,"

"Thanks," I hung up and sighed. I looked across the room.

How'd I get into this mess?

I started analyzing until I heard a knock on my door.

"Elise! I came to ask you something!" said mom.

I froze. I ran towards Red and grabbed her by the arm. She started to whine quietly. I opened the door to the attic and helped her get in quickly. "Shh, It'll be for a moment," I closed the door of the attic.

I went to open the door. "Hey, sorry mom I was dressing up," I lied.

"It's quite alright. But anyway, what do you prefer, black or blue?"

"You know the answer," I chuckled.

She smiled and showed me a magazine. "It's for you. You need a dress for prom, right?"

"Yes, mom, but that's like next year,"

"Still, you need it ready from now," she remarked.

"But what if I gain or lose weight?"

"You're right. But still-- You know what? You choose the dress you want," she laughed. I let out a chuckle. "Alright, mom, see ya," I closed the door and locked it. I walked forth and heard mumbling coming from the attic. It was strange. I thought she didn't speak at all?

I quickly opened the attic door and rose up. There was nobody. Only her. Was it her talking to herself?

Then, I heard another knock.

"Elise! It's us!" I heard Riley exclaim. I let out a sigh through my nose. "I'll be back," I said to Red.

I opened the door, let them in quickly and closed the door before locking it.

"What's wrong, Elise?" asked Taylor.

"Okay, listen, last night I was at the beach and I found this injured girl and I brought her in and she had some really strange marks as if she belongs to a cult or something. I also cured her and she doesn't speak at all but a few seconds ago I heard mumbling and I think it came from her and I don't know what to do with her,"

"What?" both Riley and Taylor asked confusedly.

"Slow down," demanded Taylor. "You brought a stranger into your home?"

"Yes," I said, "but not just any stranger. She's strange,"

"Well, duh," exclaimed Riley, "where is she?"

I pointed up to my attic. "Up there,"

They both took a glance of each other before walking close to the attic. Taylor got up first, then Riley and me.

"Woah," started Taylor, "what happened to her eye?"

Riley gasped. "What happened to her body?"

"I have no idea. But will you guys help me?"

Taylor and Riley gave me a nod. "Where's the mark you said she has?" asked Taylor.

"On her wrist." I replied. "Did you try calling the police," asked Riley. I shook my head no. "For some reason she didn't want me to,"

They both gave me a puzzled look.

Taylor got slightly close to Red. "Hey, do you mind if I--"

Taylor remained silent.

"What happened?" Riley and I questioned at the same time.

"Is this some kind of joke?" mumbled Taylor.

"What do you mean?" I asked. She looked at me, shocked. "You said you found her like this. You didn't put any marks on her body, right?" muttered Taylor.

"No, I did not." I replied firmly.

Taylor widened her eyes as she put her hand over her mouth. "You shouldn't have brought her in,"

"What? Why?" I tilted my head to a side, confused.

"You've brought into your house really bad vibes. I know the cult she belongs to." stated Taylor.

"Are you being serious?" questioned Riley.

Taylor nodded. "Well, it's not exactly a cult, it's more of a.....uh, I dunno, a group?," she chuckled, "that I was part of...before,"

"Tell us!" exclaimed Riley.

(4 weeks later) Jeff's P.O.V:

"Ben, you MUST be completely out of your goddamn mind! There's no way Sky's here. I would've felt it, alright? Not you." I scoffed.

"It's not that, you dumbass. I felt her presence in a mansion," said Ben.

"Slender's?"

"No. An actual modern mansion. In front of the beach. I got to talk to her." he stated.

"You don't say," I said in a sarcastic tone, crossing my arms. I didn't believe this elf. At all. I'm fucking tired of him.

"I'm being serious! And if you don't believe me, we'll look for her, tonight."

A sighed escaped from my nose. "Fine."

I swear to God if this is a joke...

"Just letting you know, she's not the same as before. It's like she lost her memory or something. She doesn't speak at all and she's all bruised up. She's in some kind of attic at the mansion. Supposedly a millionaire is taking care of her without her parents noticing."

"Are you being legit?"

"You'll see," he replied softly.
