"Rise and shine, Freckles," said Ben in a sing-song tune. I opened my eyes to find myself in the moving car. There was Ben driving, smiling at me. "What time is it?" I stretched out. "Around ten in the morning," Ben replied. My jaw dropped open. "It's too early."

"Too early? Would you prefer to wake up up at 6 next time? Because that was what I was planning to do now."

I rubbed my eyes. "Fine. Where are we, though?"

"Close enough," started Ben, "we're a couple of hours away. We do have a mall nearby. We can stop by so you can eat breakfast at Wendy's. Sounds good?"

I nodded my head and gazed back at Jeff. Surprisingly, he was awake, and looking out the window. "How close are we to Wendy's?" I questioned, looking at Ben. He checked his phone. "Uh....twenty minutes away."

"Sky would've loved going on this trip." spoke Jeff from the backseat. Ben froze. "Uh...yeah."

I got in the car with two bags from Wendy's. I handed a bag to Jeff, and then one to Ben. "Here, I went to CVS before Wendy's. I know you two aren't going to survive with just a piece of Snickers."

Ben gasped. "You bought Twix? For me? And Dorito? And Mountain Dew? Awe, I love you so much--"

I giggled. "Neat. I got almost all sorts of chips and five Snicker bars," addressed Jeff. I began to eat my toasts as Ben drove away, taking a bite from his Twix.

Great, now we went again to some forests. The road sure is empty. Only a few cars passed by. Everything seemed to be calmed, silent. That was until a deer got in our way and Ben swayed to the other side and almost hit a tree. Anxiety began to get to me as I began to pant. "You could've killed that deer!" I spat.

"Damn, do you even care for our lives?" Jeff asked. I opened the door and got out, running towards the deer, that was eating grass peacefully on the side of the road. If it stays there for too long and a car comes up, he might get killed. He was just lucky, for now. I wanted to get closer, but I noticed a figure lurking from the trees. As soon as I got closer, I saw a man. A tall man that was giving me a scornful look. He had a dark blue polo. I ran back to the car and opened the door. "Uhm, guys?"

They both stopped talking and looked at me. "There's someone. A man. Staring at us,"

I looked back and saw the man running towards us. I screamed bloody murder and got inside the car, closing the door. "Go!"

Ben tried to start the car, but for a cliché, it didn't. Why now?

"Ben, what's going on? Turn it on!" I yelled. "I-I'm trying!" he yelled back. "Ben, he's getting closer!" barked Jeff.

"FUCK," as soon as Ben cursed, the car turned on, and Ben reversed the car, hitting the man and driving away. "Are you crazy? I think you killed him!" I remarked. "Seriously? If I wouldn't have done that, you guys could've died," Ben grunted. I was about to ask why he excluded himself, but I remembered he's already dead. Good one, Ben. But, I feel bad for the guy. What if he was harmless?

"Ben, go back," I ordered.

Jeff and Ben both snapped their heads to look at me. "You're out of your mind--" spoke Jeff.

"No. What if that man was completely harmless? We should call an ambulance on him." I murmured.

"No. You're fucking crazy. You could get hurt. I love you too much--" said Ben, looking straight to the road, driving almost at 70 miles. "Ben, you can't drive that fast around--"
