Sky's Point of View:

When I was about to punch one little creature, it disappeared on its own. When I looked around, every single one began to disappear. Did Elise do it? Did she win? I looked over at my sister, who also seemed to be confused. "Do you think she did it?" I questioned her, walking closer. Eyeless Jack was still treating Jeff's wounds. Apparently, the injuries were severe. Gretchen only shrugged. "Probably—"

"Shouldn't they be out by now?" Sonic asked. We both looked back at him. "What?"

"The cavern. It's an illusion. The cavern seems big on the outside, but it's actually a small cave. It's weird. If they could defeat the beast they could've been out in any second. We should definitely go in," he explained. "Do you know how to get in? Because last time I checked, there is not a proper entrance, it was hard to even for Ben to get in." I remarked. "Mm, I can still check it out," he insisted.

"Though, where is Slender and Mrs. P?" inquired Gretchen. Sonic and I both shrugged. "Wait a moment, I'm gonna go check Jeff out," I commented before I left and ran over to where Jack and Jeff where. "Is everything alright?"

Jeff was grunting in pain and cursing at everything while yelling every bad word there is existing, though I think he came up with a few ones. "No," began Jack, "it's more severe than it looks. He can't take the pain. I need help so I can take him back. I need Masky and Hoodie. What's going on over there?"

"The Corrupted are gone. We're assuming Elise did it, so we're trying to find a way to get in the cavern to find her and Ben, since they haven't come out." I responded. "Then, go! And on the way, send Masky and Hoodie over here,"

I nodded affirmatively and ran over to Masky and Hoodie, alerting them of Jeff's situation. They ran off as I went up to Gretchen. "Apparently Sonic found an entrance—"

"Not so fast. Who do you think you are?"

That voice....sounds very familiar. I looked back to find Morgan and Madison. All I felt at that moment, was anger. They both took out their scythes, ready to fight us. "You think our little Corrupted are gone, just like that?" Morgan snapped her finger, and several Corrupted began to appear. "You have to be kidding me," spoke Gretchen. When they were about to laugh, I noticed how all of a sudden, they both let out a painful grunt, and black goo began to come out of their mouth. The Corrupted began to fade away as they both fell onto the floor, with blood spattered on it. "I got really tired of them," fumed Sonic as he shook his hands to get the blood off his fists. "You do realize that I've been trying to kill them for 6 years, and you just kill them like that?" I snapped. He shrugged and cleaned off his shoes. "Ugh, whatever. Let's just get in," stated Gretchen. "Yeah, where is the entrance?" I asked, crossing my arms.

"Follow me," ordered Sonic.

After a long walk, Sonic finally found it once again and took out a rock that was blocking it. "It's not even that big," I spoke quietly.

Ben's Point of View:

I was awake by a noise heard nearby. I looked around and noticed I wasn't in the same cavern as I was before. This was a cave....a small cave. What's going on?

"Elise! Ben!" I heard a voice like Gretchen's, followed by her sister's. I looked down to see Elise, holding onto her bloody chest as I was holding her other hand.

She is alive. She is alive. She is alive. She is alive.

"Elise," I whispered, "they've come for us. Wake up, Freckles."

"Elise?"

I caressed her pale cheek as my throat began to hurt. I checked her pulse on her wrist, I didn't feel anything so I went on to her neck.

Nothing.

Please tell me I'm dreaming. Or I'm not even dreaming, it's a horrible nightmare and I want to wake up. I'm praying for it to be a nightmare, a horrible nightmare or just an absurd prank that's not even funny, it's very cruel. "Elise!" I belted, tears falling down my cheeks.

"N-no...."

"Ben?"

"Ben! There he is!"

I heard someone running towards me, and I felt someone touching my shoulder. And I couldn't help but burst out crying. I looked back to see Sky, Gretchen, and Sonic. "Don't touch me." Gretchen let out a loud gasp when she saw Elise, ignoring what I just said. "What happened....?" inquired Sky.

"W-what do you possibly think?! She— she's not here! With me...." I bawled.

"Let's go, Ben—" recommended Sonic.

"Never. I was too weak, I—"

"We're leaving. Gretchen and Skyleigh will take care of this," he demanded. "NO! I'm not leaving her!" I shouted at him. He grabbed my wrist and when I least expected it, I was in the forest, with Jack, Sonic and Slender. "Are you okay? What happened? Where's Elise?" questioned Jack. Sonic looked down. "She's.....gone."

"Let's go back to the mansion, you need some rest." dictated Slender, as he placed his hand on my shoulder before we walked off to the mansion. "No! we need to go back and get Elise! She's there! All alone! She needs me!" I slapped Slender's hand off my shoulder, snarling up at him, black goo running down my cheeks. How could they tell me to just go, after all that happened? How could they be so cold-hearted?

"Ben," started Sonic, "toughen up. Elise's gone. Gone. Want me to spell it out for you? Her body's not alone, she's with Gretchen and Skyleigh."

Toughen up? Her body?

Did he just tell me to toughen up when the love of my life died in front of my eyes? Without being able to do anything about it?

Before I knew it, a punch was thrown to his face. I gave it all on my fist, it was like, the adrenaline got into my fist and threw the punch so hard, Sonic almost fell down backward. "Don't you ever, ever, talk like that." I spat at him. I felt how I was being held from my torso. I looked down to see Slender's tentacles wrapped around me.

"Enough is enough. Ben, you're coming with me,"
