ELISE'S POV

The teacher hands us all the exam. I nervously peek at it and saw the first question. I didn't know it and immediately knew I was gonna fail this. I doodle on the corner of the exam, nervously, because I didn't know shit. Finally, I got the courage to answer randomly everything. I felt a sharp pain on my toe. Did I clip my toenails last night? Fuck, I think I might have forgotten that. I didn't know the next question so I decided to skip it. I looked up to think of the next one, but the second I turned away from the test, I saw my teacher sitting across his desk, shooting me a glare. I froze. I looked back at my test and started answering. I handed in the test as soon as I finished it. "Stay after class," was what the teacher told me.

Shit. What'd I do now?

I waited a bit longer and when the classroom was empty, I walked towards him. "You wanted to speak to me?" I asked.

"Yes, Mrs. Davis, I saw what you were doing. You were cheating. You have a piece of paper inside your shirt," he stated.

"Pardon me?"

"You have an opportunity. You either show me, or you fail."

I was already going to fail anyway. But, seriously? I mean I could've cheated. But I didn't. Out of anyone, why accusing me? Did I do something that looked suspicious? He was glaring at me and staring at me for a few occasions when I looked away from my test. I wonder If I did some kind of movement nervously that might have looked like I was cheating. But this teacher was a pervert. I've heard a few accusations towards him from other classmates.

My mind was about to explode as I was going crazy. I couldn't think of anything so I just started having a panic attack and ran away from the classroom. I went to the bathroom and ran past Taylor and Riley, who were waiting outside the classroom. "Elise! What's wrong?" I heard Riley ask. I cleaned up my tears and sniffed. I turned around and smiled at them.

"What happened with Mr. Waters?" asked Taylor.

"Nothing. He's just a pervert." I remarked.

"Did he do something to you? Some girls that were harassed by him are reuniting to report him and kick him out of the school."

"Guys, it's alright. He's just gonna fail me."

Taylor let out a sigh through her nose. "Why would he fail you? You're the President. The smartest girl in the class. And he picks on you? That's complete bullshit,"

I shrugged. "Let's just go to the cafeteria,"

"On our way to the cafeteria, can we talk about how my Cheerleading rehearsal went?" squealed Riley. Taylor and I looked at each other before shrugging.

"Elise, what's wrong with you?" asked Riley, crossing her arms and slightly glaring at me. "Hm?" I tilted my head to a side, taking a bite from a green apple. "You've been acting really weird," commented Taylor.

This is getting on my nerves now. Why can't people mind their own business? I want to flicker off everyone so bad right now.

"How weird?" I asked, still having pieces of apple in my mouth. "As in, you're talking shit behind people's back, you're not studying nor doing any homework, and you're even cursing!" exclaimed Riley. I swallowed. "If it's personal, we understand, but you kinda tell us everything." added Taylor.

Not everything.

"Just stress," I lied.

"Did I also mention about the lying? You never lie," muttered Riley.

Now I do.

"What's wrong?" Taylor placed her hand on my shoulder.

Everything is wrong.

"Family problems," I lied, once again.

"Oh," Riley and Taylor said in unison.

Taylor sighed, "You don't need to explain."

Thank you.

I managed to give them a fake smile.

Tomorrow is Saturday. Tomorrow I'll be going to train. I'll be damned. I wish training would be fun. But by the looks of it, it won't.
