Colour throne

Prologue

It was a dark and stormy day.  Soldiers scrambled up the ridge and onto the battlefield. Mason, the most powerful general in all of Gala was leading his forces against the dark force. I had already seen what destruction that it could bring.

      "Master Chu," A soldier said as he ran towards me, "The dark forces controlled our lower legions, their coming through! There's too many of them!"

      I nodded ," report to Mason for another role, I'll lead the eastern legions against them!"

     With that, I grabbed my sword and marched onto the battlefield. The eastern legions fell in line behind me. I charged and my reflexes took over. Years and years of practice had paid off. I saw every arrows coming and every blow that ran towards me.

     I soon found myself fighting alongside Mason, my general. He too was a beast. We slowly pushed back what were once our allies and made our way to the dark force itself.

      "Surrender Dark Force!" Mason cried out, "You have wrecked havoc on Gala and you will pay for your crimes. We outnumber you!"

      "Do you?" The Dark Force responded in an amused voice.

     Suddenly, soldiers with dark mist over them marched out of the mist behind us. More came in front. Soon, we were hugely outnumbered and surrounded. At once, the archers let out arrows and the warriors charged forwards. Our forces tried to run, but they were cut down by swords and arrows.

      Mason suddenly collapsed as an arrow imbeaded into his shoulder. The tip was dripping green with poison.

     "Lets go!" Shouted a soldier, " We cut a path in their ranks, we need to run!"

     The soldiers pulled me away as I stared at Mason screaming in pain. I could hear the Dark Force chuckling. The last look I saw on Mason was the look of pure terror as the darkness slowly killed him from the inside.
