Ticking with Love (Ticci-Toby x reader)

Ch. 32

(Zalgo's POV)

I had visions of Jane getting her mask and then getting arrested. I know I would have to break her out because they probably took her to the most complicated prison in the area.
"Rake, can you help me break Jane out?"I ask shifting upwards in my throne. He gives me a nod and we walk out of the throne room. How convenient that I was talking to The Rake at the right time. 

We both head to the closest portal, to the real world, and walk in. We both head into the prisons direction, The Rake crawling and me walking smoothly along.
I turn into my human form and The Rake follows, behind me. That way nobody gets suspicious. I didn't really have to turn into human form because it was almost midnight, and nobody could really spot us, but I liked being human.
We arrive at the prison in half an hour and we start to circle it. The Rake looks through the windows while I stand and keep watch for any police.
He makes a quiet screech and I quietly run over to him. He pointed to a small window with bars between them, like a tic-tac-toe game, and I look in to see Jane sleeping on the bed. The cell looked pretty disgusting if you ask me.
I look around to find some pebbles and throw two of them through the window.
The first one lands right next to Jane. The next lands in her head. She groggily gets up and looks around, the chains rattling by her small movements.
"Hey Jane. Up here." I whisper, being careful not to let the security hear me. I know if they did catch us, I could always kill them but I think y/n might not appreciate that.
She looks up at us and runs closer to the window, the chains clanking against the ground.
"Try not to move that much, you might wake up the guards or cause them to get curious."
She nodded and I turned to look at The Rake. He looked back at me and then turned his head to the bars. In a matter of seconds, the bars were all ripped up by his long, sharp claws. Grabbing the remains of the thin bars and putting them next to me, he jumped in, landing smoothly and gracefully on the cell floor. Then he ran up next to Jane and started to chew away he metal with his razor sharp teeth.
After all the chains were broken, he picked up Jane and helped her climb out the window.
I grab her pale arms and pull her out, using all of my strength. I then pick her up and put her nicely onto the ground. She dusts herself off once she's on land. The Rake crawls up the walls and out the window.
"Let's get out of here. They'll get suspicious." I say with my smooth voice.
"Thank you so much Zalgo." Jane says, not questioning why I was a human because she already knew about it.
We all start to run quietly but quickly into the night, back in the forest. We find a tree with a door and open it, climbing down a ladder and stepping into a portal.
We all arrive in Jane's room, since this is where the portal in her room was put.
"Thank you Rake, for helping me get Jane back." I say, changing into my true form.
"Zalgo I'm so sorry for getting arrested. I shouldn't have went back to get my mask. You wouldn't have to go through this if I wasn't even here." Jane says looking down, taking off her mask to reveal her burned face. She still looked pretty though.
"Jane, if you weren't here, I wouldn't have been alive today. You helped me get better from my...erm...sickness. Don't feel sorry." I respond with a small smile.
She smiled back.
"Well I should get back to work, I have to plan how I'm ganna confess to y/n." I said, The Rake already leaving Jane's room.
I start walking into my office after waving to Jane and saying thank you to the Rake when I saw him go into his room.

Now I wonder how y/n will react.
