We all were running through the forest for a good amount of time before I started panting quickly.
Jane took notice of this so she picked me up bridal style, The Rake following behind us still, crawling and limping. I turned my head to him, giving him a friendly smile but all he returned was his eyes that were glowing in the dark, shining in the moonlight.
I turned away, looking into the forest to see a dark silhouette of my house.
Huh? Why are they bringing me there?
My thoughts were quickly interrupted by Jane taking a sharp turn to the right, making me cling to her neck.
"A-ah!" I yelp, surprised from the force.
"It's ok I got ya." Jane says in a soft tone, winking at me.
I can feel her arms strengthen and force me closer to her chest, making me blush at the forced contact.
"Hey Jane, I can run now." I said, looking down at the ground and then back at Jane.
"No need, I like holding you." I hear her chuckle, and feel her fingers glide across my (h/c) hair. I flinch at the move, turning away from her.
"You didn't like that?" Jane asks in a pouty voice, tilting her head at me.
"No I'm just not used to it. That's all." I brush hair out of my face and look at a tree we all were running towards.
"Something special about this tree?" I asked, while we reached it.
"Yup." Jane says, punching a secret door open,"Something really special."
Jane jumped in, causing me to shout in panic and cling to her more. The air was blowing our hair up and I saw The Rake using a ladder.
"WHY DIDN'T YOU USE THE LADDER!!" I scream as we fell to the ground, we then land onto the dirt floor.
"I was holding a pretty lady." Jane says, her voice slightly irritated from the question.
"Well I'm not pretty." I say, looking at a portal in awe, ignoring how close Jane was to my face.
"Your very beautiful might I say." Jane says, leaning in closer, and closer, and closer...until The Rake taps her shin, shaking his head and pointing to the portal.
Jane sighs and looks at the portal, stepping in. Darkness surrounded us all, red swirls in the air, when suddenly we all saw the color red. Red everywhere.
After a few moments, Jane started walking again, The Rake following behind, and the red color surrounding us all turned into a red ground. There were pools of lava and a red brick castle on a floating island.
I looked around, examining this place Jane and The Rake call 'home'.
Huh.
This place looked a lot like my dreams, because it was. All my dreams took place in this land, except for one.
The endless forest.
I wonder where that is?
I decide to ask Jane of any forests around here.
"Hey Jane, do you know if any forests are here? Supposedly an endless forest?"
"Hmm. There is one forest around here but you have to go into a portal to get there." Jane thought for a moment, then asking in a curious voice,"How'd you know of it?"
"Oh uh I-" I was cut off by Jane,"Did Zalgo show you?"
"Yes." I responded, looking at the castle and turning back to The Rake. He was gone.
"Where'd The Rake go?" I asked, tilting my head, my voice quickened and panicked.
"He's fine he just ran to Zalgo's castle." Jane responded stepping on a bridge that went over the lake of lava and in front of Zalgo's castle.
"Will we fall?!" I panicked, looking down at the lava from below. I hugged Jane, hopping I didn't fall from her arms into complete death.
"It's ok I won't let you go." Jane says looking down at me, still running on the bridge,"Just look at me, don't look down."
I became calm all of a sudden and loosen my grip on Janes neck, staring at her mask that hid her face. Somehow her gentle voice made me settle down.
We finally reached land, walking into the castle gates. She finally set me down gently onto the ground and the giant door that led into the castle opened on its own.
Jane went off in another direction but before she did so, she pointed to a familiar golden door off to the side.
I started walking towards it, quickening my pace as other creatures stared at me, watching my every move, judging me. Pushing the large, heavy, door open, I saw stained glass windows and a red carpet that led to a throne.
I shut the door behind me, breaking the glares from the creatures. Before I could turn my head and look at the throne, I heard a deep voice speak.

"Hello, my dear y/n."
