Ch. 88

I'm going to make a new cover for this book soon because Toby's hair is annoying me and the shading, colors, and eyes are really weird haha. Don't worry, the next one will be better hue.

As Toby and I walked down the road to some stores- full from all the wonderful food the creepypastas delivered to us- we went into almost all the buildings we passed, buying some things for the others and maybe a gift for ourselves. I secretly bought him a dark brown sweatshirt and a watch. When we got to the end of the stores, we decided to turn around since it just began to rain. First, the rain was light, but as we neared the entrance of the forest, it became hard.
   "A-At least the t-trees will block some of t-the rain for us..." Toby tried to lighten the mood, putting his arm around my shoulders. "H-Here." He muttered while taking off his sweatshirt and putting it on me. "Aren't you ganna become cold?" I asked, remembering that I bought him another sweatshirt. "Oh I-I don't care about t-the rain right now." He smiled but I could see him shiver a bit.
   "Have no fear, y/n is here! I bought you a sweatshirt and a watch!" I smiled, taking out his only source of protection from the rain and also giving him the small black watch. "Gee y-y/n. Thank you s-so much!" He smiled and put on the dark brown sweatshirt- I think it suits him nicely- and he also put on the small watch. "N-now I can tell what time i-it is everywhere h-heh! That does remind me..."
   He pulled out a book and a thick, beautiful silver ribbon, handing them both to me.

    I smiled at him, "It would be awesome to learn some." I looked at the sliver ribbon, it glistened in weird ways and reflected things that weren't even around. "What's this?" I asked, holding it up to Toby. "O-Oh! If you throw that a-at the ground, a portal w-will appear to your f-f-favorite place. It can only be u-used once, so use i-it wisely!"
   "Thanks Toby!" Whoa that's pretty cool. I thought some more of where my favorite place would be but Toby broke the silence. "H-Hey I need to go to Mr. Smiley's very quickly, y-you can continue on without me, r-right?" Toby asked, nudging his way towards Mr. Smiley's house. "Yeah of course, but may I ask why you need to go there?" I looked forward, only just a mile to the mansion. "I-It's a surprise!" He jumped and smiled, hugging me while giving a little peck on my nose. I smiled and kissed his cheek, watching him wave and walk away. "I'll be back soon!" He shouted.
   I laughed to myself and kept walking on, watching trees and passing by notes. I took one off a tree and saw a scribbled drawing of Slenderman. "Hmm? I don't think I've noticed these before." I held it in my hand and kept walking, spotting another one on the ground. This time, it said 'always watching, no eyes' with a face that had x's for eyes.
   As I neared the mansion, I had eight pages in my hand. "What are you doing with those?" A feminine voice asked me as I turned the handle to the mansion. "Huh? Do you know about these?" I turned around and noticed it was Clockwork. She nodded "Yea of course! I can't tell you here though, follow me." She eventually led me to a broken shack that was to the right and across a river, I glanced at her before we both went inside the darkness.
   "These are pages, all pointing towards Slenderman. They lead random people into mystery but when they collect them, Slenderman...well, he gets 'angry'. But do you know what he does to people he gets 'angry' at?" I shook my head no, and she smiled. "Well, this happens." Clockwork plunged her hand into my chest and laughed. I screamed in horror and pain as she twisted it, me pulling out my pocket watch. Clockwork pulled her hand out but I was left lying on the floor, bleeding out. "Psh, you're ganna use that old thing? I don't think so." She giggled and threw it out of my hand, walking out the shack and leaving me there to die. 
    I blinked and slowly crawled toward the pocket watch, using all my strength to get over towards it, grabbing it and gagging, holding my wound. "N-No, not today Clockwork." I coughed and turned the hand on the pocket watch.
   
   The notes in my hand were getting wet and I clutched it, shaking and shivering. I suddenly noticed that this is where Clockwork caught me so I began to hide silently behind a bush.
I need to tell someone, I need someone who can teleport... BEN will do I guess. I started to text him, but suddenly heard footsteps close by, noticing that it was Clockwork. "I saw her a minute ago..." She muttered. My heart started to beat faster.
   Noticing my phone started to glitch I thanked the Lord that BEN was here now. He appeared, smiling and teleporting me into his room from his tv.
